He is off his meds.
Fear mongering nonsense.
I heard him discussing this. Sure would seem to open up a Pandora’s box. I guess he has a touch of the dramatic.
Glen Beck is wrong. There will be some posturing and a few missiles tossed around.
Brigitte Gabriel had a good point, 2 million got killed down in Congo. Then why weren’t we down there?? Something more to the picture here I’ve got to think but our foes or at least the allies of our opponent, are big boys alright.
If the US and the West are in a perilous position now, what will happen 1 year down the road when Iran has Nukes? At some point if we don’t take the Iranians out now, we will have a much tougher time of it in the future. Beck is an alarmist but we should listen anyway...
We’ll survive an attack on Syria but its the resulting regional war that will hurt us. Its especially true when you consider that we have the most rabidly anti Israeli UN ambassador we’ve ever had in an already anti Israeli UN.
Samantha Power is chomping at the bit for a reason to invade Israel and has said so.
China has nothing to gain by going to the mat for Syria, they have the upper hand. Russia is in ascendance, they’ll posture, but that’s it. Iran has ignored us successfully for 30 years, so why change?
I can see all those futuristic apocalyptic imitations of the worst American writer since James Fenimore Cooper, Tom Clancy (according to Christopher Buckley), all those vanity projects of the local literary heroes, that you all know without me having to list their names in vain, being updated as we speak.
Beck is referring to out debt situation in the aftermath of our attack on Syria. China may call our debt, or demand concessions from a position of ultimate strength. That could be the end of our nation.
Our enemies know that the safest, surest, most cost-effective way to weaken the United States is simply to sit back and let Obama finish out his second term unhindered. They won’t rock the boat over Syria.
He also did say that he had information that would bring the government down. Still waiting.
We’ll survive. We’ll just be more hated, less wealthy, and more distant from the constitution than before. Same old crap.
Beck can act nutty at times but I have seen his predictions turn out to be true a few times as well.
He is exaggerating, but this one is very serious. Russia hasn’t stood still, they have continued to develop weapons. China an Iran have not stopped either. This will not be like the Iraq invasion. We have a substantial chance of losing ships and aircraft, so much so that it may be a fiasco. If it becomes an embarrassment to the US, the world will know we are now a paper tiger, and look to China and Russia to support their interests.
So I understand the Brits recalled Parliament on this issue and will vote on it.
I have no idea, you’d think overall, there would be enough reason to vote against this.
So why don’t we have the same option? We do but our Representatives and Senators won’t stand up for the most part it seems.
The only way this could happen would be if Iran has a “lot” of nukes already tested in NK. A nuke in Tel Aviv would be a sufficient trigger and with Obama we wouldn’t stand a chance.
We are not going to have WW III over Syria.
Before WW1, there were 3 Balkan crises before full mobilization in 1914. A world war can start out as a small brushfire. With Russia and China lined up with Assad, I’d rather not tempt fate with a few missiles. 0bama is a sick paranoid narcissist. He is certainly capable of acting irrationally because he is possessed by the evil one.
I think this prediction may be a bit of Glenn going over the top again, but I also believe messing with Syria would be the biggest mistake Obastard’s ever done. And that’s saying a lot! Syria is not Libya, or Iraq.
Syria is about as close as you can get to being a ME Russian Client, and will have much more advanced weaponry than anybody we’ve faced recently. I wouldn’t be surprised if they can shoot down a B2.
