Oh, well, the historical examples are too numerous to list. But otherwise I agree with your assessment of Putin vs. Obama.

My original point was that I just don’t think it’s in Russia’s interest to attack Israel, other than perhaps profiting from arms sales to Israel’s enemies. But that’s just my assessment.
