“So we took the wrong side in Tunisia...we took the wrong side in Libya....we took the wrong side in Egypt (bigtime!)...and now we’re intervening somewhere else.Ten bucks says that history will show that we took the wrong side *there* as well.

But then, our Community Agitator-In-Chief *did* promise change.”

There is not good side in this. Both sides are the wrong side.

This is one time when the Obamanation of Desolation should listen to his inner coward and do nothing. If he wants to prove he is a man help the Philippines and Vietnam confront China.

'Wag the dog' in action.. Chem strike horror staged by rebels (and U.S.) to justify bombing Assad.

Has 0bama approached Congress for consent to war in Syria??? Libya all over again.. Another war by 0bama, not authorized by Congress. ANOTHER impeachable offense.

“SO what did Congress say when Hussein asked them for permission?”

They did what they normally do.... crawled under their desks, whimpered, and wet themselves.

It was a trick question.

I’m pretty sure he never asked.

What American citizen, direct American interest, or Constitutional duty is in imminent danger that would allow him to act without Congressional approval in advance? The executive isn't permitted to issue military strikes which are strictly punitive under our law.

I have to wonder what Israel is doing right now.
With their intel they would know a strike is emmenent.
Are they preparing for what would surely follow?

Lets ask the Israelis how easy it was for them when they intervened in Lebanon’s civil war.

What's the Russian for "splash one cruise launching US ship"? This is probably close enough:

Мы просто затонула американская крылатая ракета-запуск корабля.

(We just sank an American cruise missile-launching warship.)

What kind of ‘’attacks’’ is our government planning to use against Syria that haven’t already been used with an extraordinary lack of success in our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past decade?

Does Obama have a new secret weapon that can bring the combined forces of Syria and its allies, Iran and Russia, to their knees in weeks? If so, why haven’t we been using it in Afghanistan against the mere tribal groups we haven’t been able to overcome for twelve years?

And, of course, the Obama administration realizes that it will have to wrap everything up in just a few short months since Iran is expected to have its nuclear weapon ready for deployment by that time, and if we’re still at war with the Syria-Iran-Russian axis of hatred against the U.S., things could get very unpleasant for us.

Russia and China may permit Obama to have his way with Syria ... for a price, a very steep price. Obama may just be fixated enough on his Caliphate dreams to pay that price.

The American people and freedom-loving people everywhere will end up paying that price: U.S. defense systems out of Europe, Spratling Islands to China, Taiwan to China, etc., etc.
