With the Egyptian military killing Muslim Brotherhood in the streets and Muslim Brotherhood members burning down churches and parading nuns through those same streets, President Barack Obama took to the microphone from a golf course in Martha's Vineyard to clarify America's perspective. Here were his inspiring words: "America cannot determine the future of Egypt. That's a task for the Egyptian people. We don't take sides with any particular party or political figure. I know it's tempting inside of Egypt to blame the United States or the West or some other outside actor for what's gone wrong."
There is a reason that many in Egypt are upset at the United States -- by taking no side, America is taking a side. Egyptian secularists feel abandoned by the United States, given rumors that the Obama administration now wants to cut off aid to the military; the Islamists rage against the American machine because the Obama administration did nothing to uphold President Mohamed Morsi's election.
Meanwhile, President Obama sails blithely along on the winds of self-assurance.
Thus far, the only common thread to the Obama administration's Middle East policy is Obama's unwillingness to pursue anything remotely representing an American interest. In Tunisia, President Obama said nothing about the collapsing rule of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, a longtime American ally, until Ben Ali fled the country; then he celebrated. Within months, an Islamist party ruled the country. In Libya, President Obama hesitated when rebels began launching attacks against defanged dictator Muammar Qaddafi; then he stepped in and provided defense to those Islamist rebels. They promptly turned around and murdered four Americans in Benghazi. In Syria, President Obama sent Hillary Clinton out to tout Bashar Assad as a reformer; then he decided to give guns to the al-Qaida-aligned Islamist insurgency.
What were America's interests in these countries? President Obama never explained how the United States was better off with the Ennahda Party in power in Tunisia, Libyan Islamists ruling the countryside in Libya, and al-Qaida running Syria. But he did ensure that American aid kept flowing. In Egypt, however, Obama has cut off aid to the secularist military as they fight the Muslim Brotherhood.
America does have interests in Egypt. Egypt's powerful military poses a regional counterbalance to Iranian ambition. Egypt's border with Israel has been Israel's most peaceful border for the past three decades. Egypt controls the vital Suez Canal, an artery for oil flow. But none of these interests seem to matter to President Obama, who doesn't want to take sides. He seems indifferent as to whether Islamists control the canal, the missiles and the government. Churches burn; Obama fiddles.
And Obama doesn't merely fiddle -- he does so in authoritarian fashion. If he wanted to cut off aid, all he had to do was declare Egypt's coup a coup -- but that would be tossing power back to Congress. Instead, he cut off aid and declined to declare a coup a coup, essentially stating that all foreign policy funding should run through him personally. If he wakes up on the other side of the bed, the Muslim Brotherhood may find itself on the short end of the stick again.
Unpredictability makes for instability. Nowhere has that been truer than in the volatile Middle East. Adding the wavering president's oddball views of foreign affairs to the mix is a recipe for disaster.

The nightmare is for America in that its legislators are cowardly accepting this enigma to destroy their very country.
Long article to say what we all know: nobama hasn’t a clue.
“The nightmare is for America in that its legislators are cowardly accepting this enigma to destroy their very country.”
After four and half years of evidence that Obama works for radical Islamists, there is no enigma about Obama and his goals. The enigma is why any but the card=carrying Communists in Congress are not doing what has to be done within the law to remove him from office.
0’s got the reverse Midas touch: everything he touches turns into a giant cowpie.
To borrow a quote from Mark Shea, “Human history is divided into two phases - (1) What could it hurt? (2) How were we supposed to know?”
"America cannot determine the future of Egypt. That's a task for the Egyptian people. We don't take sides with any particular party or political figure. I know it's tempting inside of Egypt to blame the United States or the West or some other outside actor for what's gone wrong."

THIS WAS OBABO ON EGYPT IN 2009:
Obama figured he was working his magic, sucking-up bigtime in a speech in Cairo----where he apologized for America's historical role in the Middle East. Obama calculatedly set the stage for the Egyptian president's overthrow by the mob.
When the worst-case scenario happened, when Obama's personal choice---Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Morsi, was elected president----Obama sap-happily sent his secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, to Cairo to personally kiss-up to Morsi---(perhaps at that time hatching their plans to destroy Westen civilization in compliance w/ Muslim Brotherhood dictates?).
Obama had calculatedly added a treacherous, ill-advised component to US foreign policy----sucking up to the very people who want to kill Americans and destroy American churches.
Obama was prostrate in obeisance before Muslim leaders---portraying teeming Muslim majorities in Egypt as "victims" of Western colonialism and Cold War policies, then stupidly promoted democracy among conflicting cultures w/ thousands of years of religious and territorial factionalism.
"The relationship between Islam and the West includes centuries of coexistence and cooperation, but also conflict and religious wars," Obama said in the June 2009 speech in Cairo. "More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies, without regard to their own aspirations."

Fast forward to 2013: in the past 4-5 days, in a sustained volley of hate-fueled violence, the savage Muslim Brotherhood torched Egyptian churches, Christian homes and businesses. Obama ignored the bloodbath and spent the crisis dining out, golfing, power-partying, and vacationing in exclusive Marthas Vineyard on the taxpayers' dime.
Arif Alikhan, assistant secretary of Homeland Security for policy development;
Mohammed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council;
Rashad Hussain, the U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference;
Salam al-Marayati, co-founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC);
Imam Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA);
Eboo Patel, a member of President Obamas Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.

ACCORDING TO AN EGYPTIAN MAGAZINE:
Alikhan is a founder of the World Islamic Organization, which the magazine identifies as a Brotherhood subsidiary. It suggests that Alikhan was responsible for the file of Islamic states in the White House and that he provides the direct link between the Obama administration and the Arab Spring revolutions of 2011.
Elibiary, who has endorsed the ideas of radical Muslim Brotherhood luminary Sayyid Qutb, may have leaked secret materials contained in Department of Homeland Security databases, according to the magazine. He, however, denies having any connection with the Brotherhood. Elibiary also played a role in defining the Obama administrations counterterrorism strategy, and the magazine asserts that Elibiary wrote the speech Obama gave when he told former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave power but offers no source or evidence for the claim.
Rashad Hussain maintained close ties with people and groups that it says comprise the Muslim Brotherhood network in America. This includes his participation in the June 2002 annual conference of the American Muslim Council, formerly headed by convicted terrorist financier Abdurahman Alamoudi. He also participated in the organizing committee of the Critical Islamic Reflection along with important figures of the American Muslim Brotherhood such as Jamal Barzinji,Hisham al-Talib and Yaqub Mirza.
Regarding al-Marayati, who has been among the most influential Muslim American leaders in recent years, the magazine draws connections between MPAC in the international Muslim Brotherhood infrastructure.
Magid heads ISNA, which was founded by Brotherhood members, was appointed by Obama in 2011 as an adviser to the Department of Homeland Security. The magazine says that has also given speeches and conferences on American Middle East policy at the State Department and offered advice to the FBI. Rose El-Youssef says Patel maintains a close relationship with Hani Ramadan, the grandson of Brotherhood founder Hasan al-Banna, and is a member of the Muslim Students Association, which it identifies as a large Brotherhood organization. ---source IPT>

If we quit giving air to all these 3rd world hellholes, the men will have to get real jobs and won’t have the time or money to play war. Our only job in the ME is to protect Israel... Period.
