Does anyone remember that we fought a war over this issue. Because we refused to accept the UK’s claims of our citizens still being subjects of theirs. The Royal Navy would stop and search our merchant ships, and even our naval vessels (The Chesapeake), round up American citizens who they still considered subjects of the crown, and force them to serve in the Royal Navy. Congress passed and Pres. Madison signed a declaration of war in June 1812 because of our outrage over impressment. The ignorance of our history is astounding. Or maybe Charles and Bret are hardcore members of the Federalist Party, which died a quick death over this issue.

Hurray for you!
If the do-dos have their way, Fidel will have a veto over Cruz running for President.

Good points.
Unfortunately so many people now consider that we have nothing to learn from history; such people are like mindless animals driven by immediate sensory input which completely bypasses the intelligence.
