Actress and singer Bette Midler is quickly becoming one of Hollywood's most addle-minded personalities.
On Twitter Wednesday, she actually wrote, "Do you find it odd that in America today, its easier to take a life than to get health insurance?"
Let's look at the facts, shall we?
In 2011, there were about 14,000 homicides in our nation. That year, 48.6 million Americans were uninsured.
That means about 261 million people in our country had health insurance that year, or 18,643 times the number of homicides.
Midler might be a Divine singer, but her intellectual capacity is anything but.
How does she feel about abortion? That’s taking a life. And it’s easier than pulling a trigger.
Every time your wife insists on watching Beaches, tell her you want to make it a double-feature with Hocus Pocus. While watching Beaches, point out the miracles that Hollywood make-up people have done on Midler. And while watching Hocus Pocus, comment how natural she looks.
Considering the mission of obamacare’s IPAB’s, her words may very well be prophetic. Except that the lives will be taken by the government...her favorite government.
Yeah it is easier to take a life than get health insurance.... Look no further than the abortion mills that dimwits like midler and her ilk support.
well of course you tw#t, you want unfettered access to abortion so sure, killing is easy.
Bette Midler: ‘In America Its Easier to Take a Life Than to Get Health Insurance’
Ms. Midler, It is easier to take a life anywhere in the world then it is to get health insurance. At least in America more people have access to healthcare then anywhere else. There are many country’s where people have no access to health care and are murder daily. If you have nothing intelligent to say may you should not say anything.........
She thinks she’s making a point. How cute.
She is sooooo full of poop. I can go online right now and get a Blue Cross/Shield plan immediately for a few bucks.
If you outsource killing someone, you have to pay the contractor for that too.
