Republicans want to talk to Col. George Bristol about Benghazi
CBS News ^ | 7/5/13 | SHARYL ATTKISSON

Posted on 07/05/2013 9:47:51 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Marine Corps Col. George Bristol was in a key position in the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) chain of command the night of the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. As such, he's high on the list of people that some Republican members of Congress want to interview. But they don't know where he is and the Pentagon isn't telling.

Before Morsi has a chance to sing and rat on what Obama was really up to in Bengazi he is going to disappear as well from Egypt.

There are reports that the reason the Army SF team was withdrawn from Tripoli prior to the Benghazi raid..in spite of security concerns..was the misconduct of some of the Army personnel in Tripoli. Evidently, a late night return from another Embassy on unofficial business resulted in an attempted hijack and incident.

“He refused to act because he planned the whole thing.”

My opinion is almost the same thing, but I believe Hillary dreamed up, and laid out the scenario, and it was approved by Obama. Then Hillary as usual did her walking away into the Sunset thing while subordinates muddled their way through the hare brained bits, and pieces she left laying on the table with little, or no instruction. Phone as usual was off the hook. Only Huma had the cell phone number, and she wasn’t talkin’.

It would not be the first time in her history she dreamed up scenarios for others to take the fall for. (Call them Hillary’s Hankies keeping her nose clean.) There are lists of victims out there going way back. Smartest woman in the World ya know.

So Bristol cannot be contacted by the Pentagon?
Hmmm, a lifer who doesn’t receive pension checks
either by mail or direct deposit. Who could imagine
a Republican administration being so lucky in a similar
situation? Try the VA for a location. Of course Colonel
Bristol could be hiding in fear. There’s that, you know.

I agree. And now that Morsi has been deposed perhaps we can gain some concrete Intel from Egyptian Intel sources to rat out these conspirators.

He’s probably looked up and being water boarded until he agrees not to testify.

They didn’t lose him. They are hiding him.

Unless the Marines are and have been corrupted by this administration as the Joint Chiefs have, this Marine will come forward and do the right thing.

If the Marines indeed have been corrupted, we are in deeper sh*t than we may think.

Why not just put a target sign on his back?

The US Congress is BEHIND the treason with al Qaeda.

Proof:? Given 911 and the Boston ATrocity and the
rest, they would have DONE SOMETHING otherwise.

I won't speculate on the "botched kidnapping" or other angle, but it is very, very weird the level of obfuscations, denials, diversions, "what difference does it make" objections this administration has undertaken.

I mean, how much trouble would anyone at the top be in if they'd just said from the outset, "We believe these were rogue fanatics in Lybia taking advantage of ongoing instabilities who attacked our consulate, because they didn't like the fact that the US was trying to stabilize Lybia." Sounds plausible and would have even garnered some sympathy from those who want a US presence in that region.

But, man! When so much smoke is being blown, one has to wonder what offense is being covered.

They say he's retired and they can't reach out to him,"

Where are they sending his pension checks?

That should be a matter of public record. Stop sending those checks and see how long before he surfaces.

***Egyptian Intel Sources***

We can only hope that the Egyptians are so “irritated” with the O administration that they will be only too happy to send any intel they have to the appropriate people in Congress. Let’s hope they see the value of a “twofer.”

A conspiracy under every rock? No, thanks. If
what you think is correct, you need to spend
your time in preparation, not posting. No point
in posting if the world has reached the place
you think it is at. Besides posting only brings
the black helicopters closer to your backyard.

Somebody needs to request the records of his retirement paychecks going out; what address were they sent to? If nothing else, just to be sure he’s still alive...

At first glance, Obama's failure to act could be explained as a fear that an attempt to repel the attackers could lead to massive bloodshed which would negate the campaign rhetoric that Al Qaeda is defeated. In other words, do nothing and hope that it all blows away which would be A SEVERE DERELICTION OF DUTY!!!!!!!!

On the other hand, when you add in the entire picture about not only the lack of security, but also the complete removal of all US security and the use of Libyan militia to guard the facility, a pattern begins to appear of a specific reason to strip the facility of all protection...and then the question becomes

WHY?

Now why would you strip the facility of all protection unless you expected a kidnapping to occur and wanted nobody hurt in the process, which explains why you couldn't have a bunch of special forces barging in on a peaceful kidnapping because things could get very messy with a lot of dead bodies in the news!!

Remember that Morsi was clamoring for the release of the blind sheik and that the CIA (who was also there, but separated for some unknown reason) had failed to secure thousands of shoulder-fire anti-aircraft missiles when Gaddafi fell which could become a huge problem in the wrong hands!!

Solution: Make a deal with Morsi to release the blind sheik in exchange for Stevens and the return of all the shoulder-fired missiles.

Then be in such a rush in the coverup to declare ‘there wasn’t enough time’ to not realize you’re raising the question ‘WHAT? How did you KNOW there wasn’t enough time?!”
