During direct, was he not also reading from his “notes”. I think Baldo noticed that and shut him down when he went on a long spree as to what was fact, opinion etc. I think Baldo realized at that point he was talking from notes made duirng his witness prep which would contain other quotes too which would be damaging to Baldo’s remaining on the Bar.
