Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

Person on top was in straddle position — ground and pound position.
John just tries to weasle out saying that the guy on the bottom has the opportunity to strike the guy on top.
Good is giving a great explanation of “ground and pound,” which is an MMA term when the person on top dominant position (St. T.) is pounding the person on the bottom (George).

Does it matter? Whether or not Z *theoretically could be* dominant from the bottom (in an MMA match, say) his injuries (and St. Trayvon’s lack of injuries) is strong evidence that Z was NOT in fact dominant from that position.
Is there any objection by delarat that the judge overruled?
Nevermind, I think I already know the answer.
Lost the feed when John said George was screaming for help.
Someone got to John but he can only back off his testimony only so far.
West is getting good descriptions of the MMA terms from JG.
West uses the excuse that someone in the audience made distracting noises, so gets JG to repeat some info.
West is going deliberately slow and imho repetitive, seemingly for the benefit of the jury, as if to teach the jury the details of JG’s testimony.
West getting JG to confirm that M on top, Z on bottom.
My take is that JG is just trying to be very fair and accurate, without appearing to favor one side or the other. When you boil down his facts, they favor GZ.
Good says when he saw arm movement of person on top going down that he turned away to call 911. (But has said he can't say he saw punches.)
O'Mara goes back to initial cry for help. Good goes through process to say why he thinks it was person on bottom.
O'Mara then goes over BDLR's "histrionics" of thumping table to make punching noises. O'Mara gets Good to say he can't say if lack of hearing punches meant there were no punches.
