Why Sarah Palin Continues To Lead CHQ Straw Poll
ConservativeHQ ^ | June 20, 2013 | George Rasley

Posted on 06/20/2013 6:37:17 PM PDT by Bratch

Sarah Palin, former Alaska Governor, Tea Party inspiration and FOX News contributor leads our CHQ Republican presidential straw poll, as she has for the past several weeks.

No doubt some will attribute Palin’s lead to her active community of online supporters – and there is no doubt that Governor Palin’s online network gives her an advantage in any net-based vote.

But that, in our opinion, is not why the feisty Alaskan continues to lead in our poll.

Plenty of the other potential Republican presidential candidates have active online communities.

What many of the other candidates lack – even some of the candidates with otherwise impeccable conservative credentials – is Palin’s “tell it like it is” authenticity.

And in our opinion, it is that authenticity that keeps Governor Palin in the lead.

Who else is going to say, “We are so screwed” when Obama announced his new national security team?

And then back it up with facts detailing why Obama’s choices of Susan Rice for national security advisor and Samantha Power for U.N. ambassador were dangerous for America.

Who else among the potential Republican presidential nominees is going to go to the Faith and Freedom Conference to take-on the faithless and freedom eroding Republican establishment by saying, "Don't you dare marginalize us (conservatives)?"

Few of the others would choose to.

And who else would call-out the White House press corps for their ridiculously self-absorbed correspondent’s dinner by tweeting, “The rest of America is out there working our asses off while these DC assclowns throw themselves a #nerdprom.”

No one, that’s who.

Palin is popular with the grassroots in some measure because she defies the pseudo-intellectual conventions of inside-the-Beltway political conversation – or what most people outside-the-Beltway call double talk or B.S.

But attributing her lead in the CHQ straw poll or popularity at the grassroots strictly to her sometimes colorful speeches is much too shallow an analysis to explain Palin’s enduring popularity.

Establishment Republican Party leaders and their sometime abettors in the establishment media would like to forget that the Tea Party rebellion of 2009 and 2010 was presaged by the outpouring of grassroots support for Sarah Palin in the 2008 presidential campaign.

The Tea Party rebellion was as much a rebellion against the entrenched GOP leadership as it was a rebellion against Barack Obama and his liberal agenda.

Tea Partiers and grassroots conservatives frustrated by the slow pace of change in the establishment GOP or its tendency to equate change with lurching to the left see in Palin one who articulates our own frustration with big government Republicanism and the abandonment of the Republican Party’s support for traditional marriage and other elements of the traditional values agenda. And we vote for Sarah Palin because she’s one of us.

Showing photo’s of her family HUH

agree, she got threats, weirdo’s moving in next door, even weirdo’s flying over her house.
Anyone would have done the same and not run after how the left showed their NAZI tactics

First of all, LOL@ If Romney couldn’t win them over.

Romney, like McCain (who "campaigned" for Obama the last month or so of his run for [from?] the presidency,) didn't want to win the election, the GOPe long ago got mesmerized by America having a black president and wanted to be part of continuing that wonderful history.

It's not about winning over the groups mentioned in order for a Conservative to be nominated and then winning the Presidential election.

It's about one thing: Voter fraud.

Included in that is ACORN (still around in with many name changes and bigger than ever, which was initiated by Obama BTW,) millions of non-American citizens voting, and the use of government agencies to gather information and use psychological brainwashing on voters using that illegally obtained information.

I have been saying for years that no major national elections will be won by Conservatives as long as the voter fraud isn't stopped to very large extent.

The GOP years ago entered into a pact with the dems that they would not fight voter fraud.

Instead, the GOPe is determend to court illegal insurgents for their votes, which will NEVER be pried from the democrats bloody un-American cheating treasonous hands.

Footnote: The GOP buying into the pro amnesty stuff swirling around DC these days will not do them ONE bit of good. The illegals will still vote for dems, they give them all the freebies they have gotten used to instead of taking care of themselves.

I saw a great cartoon the other day, with a bear in line for free Gov goodies. He was told no he couldn't have the goodies because then he would not be able to fend for himself.

Behind him was an obvious Obama voter who would be given all the freebies.

We are giving away way to many fish, without teaching the masses how to fish.

Things like this always remind me of the situation where a jogger came alongside of a Clinton enemy who was also jogging and mentioned something about her dog. Which had "disappeared" in the recent past.
One of the milder tactics used by The Dixie Mafia, much different than his enemies committing suicide by shooting themselves in the back with a shotgun or slitting their own throats.

Or like the Starbucks girl who they thought was Monica.

Romney lost just as we predicted, he never belonged in republican politics.

To this day, no one can explain what his 20 years of running for office was about.

A rich kid entertaining himself and getting everyone to look at him?

Plus it is part of the LDS belief system to have a Mormon president. I think that had a lot to do with it.

Imagine, if you will, having 700 lawyers sent to your town to look into every facet of your entire life from conception to present, ordered by the sitting president, and supported by virtually every major and minor news outlet in the land.

Imagine a low life, moving in next door, who can see into your backyard, and your living room and kitchen windows, who can take photos of you in pajamas having a midnight snack.Photos of the family? How about photos of the inside of your colon? In technicolor?

let's not forget firebombing the very church you attend, and have it laughed off on late night comedy. Funny shit, that.

And jokes about your young daughter being raped in the seventh enning at the baseball game? No, there was no invasion of her privacy, no belittling, and absolutely no threats to her or her family.

Right.

She just up and folded her whole gig, for the good of the country, and for her pocket book.

Right.

It was part of what he said when we saw him just a few short weeks before he died. His talk was a great one, lively and informative. He said that quote with great emotion and showed his anger towards those who savaged her. I still have a signed book from him and remember our personal conversation fondly after he gave his speech. What a great, great warrior he was. He thought highly of her, spoke of her as our best candidate (this after she had announced she wasn’t going to run), he understood what she brought to the table.

Oh you do get it, nice to see that you know it wasn't pictures of her family that someone showed her as if they were seamy as the reason.

Oh no, you misunderstood entirely. I was hinting towards threat to her and her family, as in harm being visited upon them, not a reflection of who or what they were publically.

On that you are right, my comments came because your first post didn’t hint in that direction.

There are a few posters who don’t like Palin, and make open ended comments like that.

Dear God, he was a great man. We know God holds him dear. I hope he is somehow watching over our TEA Party movement and adding guidance if he possibly can. :)

I’m so happy you were able to meet him and spend time together.

I think I told you this one:

"Sarah Palin would show up in any town of 10,000 and 110,00 would come to hear her"

He was clearly one of her greatest supporters.

Don’t forget the fire at her church. The arsonist has never been caught as far as I know.

Correction, had the same initial as Monica.

Apparantly there was a hit issued against women who had contact with Clinton with a name starting with "M."

There was speculation at the time that it was thought the Starbucks girl was Monica, but as you can see from the information below, which seems to fairly accurate, it was way more than that.

It soon became too late to off Monica as Drudge revealed the story that a Network news agency was hiding about the blue dress/stain etc.

Up until that time, the Clinton Bimbo Eruption Hit Squad were doing all they could to discredit Monica because there was no proof.

In the pre-trial publicity surrounding Paula Jones lawsuit Mike Isikoff had dropped hints that a "former White House staffer" with the initial "M" was about to go public with her story of sexual harassment at 1600 Pennsylvania. Just days later, gunmen entered the Starbuck's while the crew was cleaning up after closing.

Mary's two associates, Aaron Goodrich, 18 and Emory Evans, 25, were taken to a room and shot. Mary herself had five bullets in her, from at least two different guns, most likely with silencers.
**snip**
Even though more than $4000 remained in the store, the police have categorized the triple murder as a robber, even as they acknowledge the "execution style" killings.

**snip**
UPDATE: On August 1, 1998, yet another young female government intern with the initial "M", Christine M. Mirzayan, was murdered, beaten to death with a heavy object near Georgetown University.
**snip**
UPDATE: A recent affidavit filed by NOAA's Sonya Stewert, confirms that the Department of Commerce was selling trade mission seats in exchange for campaign donatations, and illegally blocking FOIA requests. Named in the affidavit as the White House staffer directly connected to this obstruction is Doris Matsui. Doris's assigned intern during this period was Mary Mahoney.

It's interesting the Dept of Commerce connection.

Ron Brown was about to out Clinton and his shady deals through the DofC and his plane went into a mountain and his head had a hole in it the size of a bullet.

the only survivor was a woman with non life threatening injuries, but when she got flown to the hospital her throat was cut.

But that is another story...

TMI? If you want the source for the above info, FR mail me.

"Sarah Palin would show up in any town of 10,000 and 110,00 would come to hear her"

Palin came to Searchlight, NV--Harry Reid's hometown of a couple hundred population--to speak at a Tea Party set up by the Tea Party Express on one of their national tours, and about 20,000 people showed up.

The next week, Reid started a bus tour and 100 showed up. Now there's a big LOL for ya!
