Chris Simcox, who founded a border-watch group known as the Minutemen to look for illegal immigrants coming into Arizona from Mexico, has been arrested in Phoenix on suspicion of having sexual contact with three girls under the age of 10, police said.
Mr. Simcox, 52, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on suspicion of two counts of molestation of a child, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of attempted molestation of a child, according to reports.
Police said Mr. Simcox has denied the allegations.

National Forest lands are aligned with state law. If the state allows it, then it's fine. If the state disallows it, then it's disallowed on National Forest lands. The laws for National Forests are different from National Parks (allows only concealed carry if the state allows it), and National Monuments (not parks or forests). BLM lands are also different.
One of the best ways to eliminate a political enemy is to get him branded as a pedophile. Those charges never go away.
Exactly what I was thinking.
That and having child pornography. Having no technical knowledge of my own, I asked a question on a thread, some months ago, about the possibility of remotely installing child pornography on someone’s hard drive in order to discredit him/take him out of circulation. Don’t know if it can be done, but I am betting it can be. Possession of such is one of the last taboos in our society and turns most people against the perv in possession.
Your question stands, that's fine, but you should have asked about someone proven to be a child molester rather than accused of being so. That would have been a serious question, likely to be met with: "We hate child molesters regardless of party affiliation."
I guess it says something very sad about our current state of affairs that we have doubts about the story because there have been so many cases of false accusations of such abuse. Usually, those false accusations seem to be made by vengeful women against their husbands.
I understand what you are saying (unfortunately good humor in your saying NFH), but we can't give up, can't go play, particularly on this immigration issue.
” about the possibility of remotely installing child pornography on someones hard drive in order to discredit him/take him out of circulation”
Very difficult to do unless they open their computer to you somehow. The law has to prove that the perp knew the child porn was there. Luckily, child pornographers are very good about documenting their use of porn. They go to sites where it is available, they share it, they archive it.
A former coworker ran a porn site for the Russian mob after he got out of prison. He never “knew” what was on the site so he had plausible deniability.
Yes, the amnesty will destroy the country, and quickly.
It can seem to you whatever sort of code you wish, that’s up to you. Obama’s administration isn’t the first to pull totalitarian BS. I haven’t liked many administrations in my lifetime since I started voting; I’m just contrarian that way. I do, however, have no doubt that if it were a leader of a liberal organization that was accused of molesting kids, there would be a rally of cries here to denounce the person, even if it were a right-leaning administration in power. Just because a person has started something you believe in, i.e. The Minutemen, doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of something like child molestation. That happens on both sides of the aisle. I’m not saying he’s guilty of it, but I’m certainly not going to run to his defense or cry that it’s a setup without knowing the facts. I would feel the same about a liberal accused of the crime.
I just find it interesting the rush to declare him the victim of a setup and am pointing out that it’s because of his ideology that he’s being supported in this way.
That you take lightly their willingness to abuse power, that you equate the totalitarian insanity of this administration with any other administration is telling........also that you seem to presume he's guilty of child molesting.
I told you what your question should have been and what the answer would have been had you framed it correctly. You just didn't listen.
You told me what my question should have been. Wow, how could I not be utterly grateful for that?
“A 52 year old is more likely to touch a teenager .. 15, 16 and up before a 10 year old”
If we are talking about a sexual predator, I don’t think there is any relation at all between their age and the age of their preferred victims. They usually have one preferred age group and that doesn’t change no matter how old they get.
Why do you presume he's guilty? Do you have any evidence? do you know something we don't?
Not sure, but I’m confident it wasn’t while Teddy Roosevelt was still alive.
And you’ve never answered my original question, but instead attacked my motivations for asking it.
Also “ Im not saying hes guilty of it, but Im certainly not going to run to his defense or cry that its a setup without knowing the facts.” is a long way from presuming he’s guilty.
My original question had nothing to do with his innocence or guilt, just a speculation that were his political ideology different, he would not be judged to be the victim of a setup on this site. I find it interesting, is all. Good day, sir.
And your original question DID have an implication of guilt in it, sorry, it did.
Your question was deservedly challenged. Sorry about that. Good day to you too.........
The smear is a useful tool that the left uses, and they’re adept at it.
What did Goebbels - another good socialist - say? “Tell the lie often enough and people believe it to be the truth” or something to that effect.
Some on our side are good, no doubt.
We need more of them.
It's simply refreshing to see someone do that......
“...A conservative who can hold his ground...”
I believe LtC Alan West holds his ground too. Good man.
We have too many of the Juan McCain types.
It's a shame he lost his seat, I hope he can find another elective office, he would be another like Cruz.
Gosh, maybe he could move to Arizona..........
