The 2nd Amendment protects our bullets in its first half of the amendment, "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state,..". Well regulated meaning well practiced, well run, well drilled, able to shoot well and accurate from shooting practice, etc. To achieve this, the abundance of bullets and the ease to obtain them inexpensively is necessary and certain. To the California legislature and all other government bodies and agents, obstruction of the free, simple, and inexpensive access to a plentiful supply of ammunition by the militia or the people is a violation of the Constitution and your sworn oaths. I felt it necessary to write this since I just don't hear anyone making this point or defending our bullets via the 2nd amendment.

What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
That is totally the crux of the argument
You are correct, sir.
Now who is going to take this all the way to SCOTUS?
We the People will only find another way around their statist idiocy.
Thank you for that.
I would also add a story I once read about a NAZI German General meeting with a General from Switzerland. This occurring when all of the Swiss population have weapons in their homes. The German general asks - what would you do if we invade Switzerland - to which, the Swiss general responded that - we all will fire one bullet and then go home. The Germans never invaded Switzerland.
Just spread the news and the truth. It will get there then.
In many parts of the nation, especially the states (CA, NY, IL, Etc.) the 2A is no loger a right, but a a heavily infringed privilege doled out at the pleasure of the ruling class. Short of SCOTUS intervention (and don’t count on it) many states will kill the 2A.
It’s interesting to note that the Bill of Rights being “further declaratory and restrictive clauses” means that the 2ND Amendment protects arms from even the taxing authority of the Congress.
There sure workin’ hard here in NV to kill it. Mares against ill-eagle guns(?)(Practically every web site I go to the mares have an ad asking people to call the NV Gov asking him to sign the anti-gun bill.) and the gabby and mark kelley giffords travelin’ side show are pushing hard. I actually got a donation request from the g and mkg merry band of constitution busters the other day. They came up with the very clever name of Americans For Responsible Soutions. Pretty catchy huh? I stuffed all their crap back in their prepaid envelope with a rather pointed letter to mx. mark kelley-giffords. Doubt he’ll ever read it but at least I felt better. And, isn’t that what it’s all about anyway? LOL!
Rulings by the US Supreme court are only opinions that legally only bind the case and defendents of the specific case heard by the Supreme Court. Those opinions are only for the education of all other listeners and courts which are not legally binded to agree or abide by their opinion.
So essentially law throughout the US is only opinion but a educated opinion. Thus a jury has the right to ignore the law and the instructions from the judge and nullify the law in a jury decision that appears to contradict the written law
A drone without a missile isn’t “armed”!
Has Sandoval vetoed SB221 yet?
Think government is going to protect and serve you is ridiculous. Buy a boy scout manual. That will teach you the basics.
I believe in self reliance. That includes having enough ammunition for the weapons I depend on for family security and keeping enough food and water on hand to weather sudden storms or electrical outages. I haven’t been bothered in the least by the ‘national ammo shortage’ because I was prepared for it to happen.
Can you take care of your family without outside assistance if our national electrical grid is put out of service for two months? If the answer is no, then start stocking up on the necessary supplies before it happens.
It depends. Today all those drones have cameras that can record - and depending who gets that recording it could be considered ammunition more deadly than a missile. LOL
I agree with you.

Is there a comma between Arms and shall?
I have seen it written both ways and I believe there should not be a comma.
It is a stand-alone statement and doesn’t need the break in the thought.
The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.
another way around.
