A Cheerios commercial has sparked controversy after a large group of people started posting racially charged messages about the new ad on YouTube.
The commercial features an interracial couple and their daughter, and was released by Cheerios on YouTube. However, a group of Internet "trolls" quickly began posting comments about the interracial nature of the ad, sparking such racially charged comments that YouTube eventually decided to close the comments section of the page to bring a halt to the discussion.
The 30 second commercial features a young girl talking about the nutritional value of Cheerios. She asks her mom whether Cheerios are good for your heart, to which the mother responds that they are.
The young girl then smiles and runs off with the box of Cheerios. The next shot is of the girl's father waking up on the couch with a pile of Cheerios poured out over the left side of his chest where his heart is.
The commercial seems cute and innocent to most, but a number of Internet trolls quickly took over the discussion on the YouTube comments board referring to the interracial nature of the family, which featured a white mother and black father.
Some of the comments referred to "Nazis" and "racial genocide" and more than 600 dislikes were recorded for the video. Others commented that the concept of a happy mixed-race family made them "want to vomit."
The racial slurs also spilled over onto the Cheerios Facebook page where some commenters stated that they found the commercial "disgusting."
One commenter also posted a racial slur about the likelihood of black men staying with their family, stating: "More like single parent in the making. Black dad will dip out soon."
On Reddit the comments continued, and some turned the debate into the likelihood of a black man being with a white woman, against a couple with a white man and a black woman.
In 2012, a Cheerios commercial was also targeted by racial slurs and comments. In that commercial released in June last year, two black siblings are shown at their family kitchen table, when the older brother steals the cereal from his younger brother, who is in a high chair.
One commenter on YouTube wrote: "Just goes to show you they start steeling [sic] at an early age!!! First Cheerio's next bikes then cares lol just like in real life."
...and here I thought Mom was high-yeller.

In these days of rampant fornication, there is a pervasive “try everything before you settle” mentality that makes marriage more-or-less a dead institution in the West. Males don’t have to settle because plenty of cows can be had, giving away milk for free (Google SWUGs).
Hence, the Western woman’s fatal attraction towards cultures like those of Islam, where fornication is vehemently opposed. They fall for them looking for the stability that they didn’t find back home. But Muslims only look at non-Muslim women as whores to use and dispose.
I’ve seen so much of this go on, it’s sickening. And the women, stupid.
All thanks to how fornication is condoned here in the West.

The definition of “white” is tricky when most have some mixing of blood. An Arab is classified “white”. Plus, plenty of Americans have Indian blood.
Race itself is a dying / weakly defined categorisation.
It’s unlikely that all the US will interbreed into one light tan race. But if they do, so what; they would still all be children of Adam (and Noah). It isn’t the skin that matters, it is what resides within the skin that matters.

If you think gay “marriage” was the threat, wait until single-mom parents become the overwhelming societal norm.
Bastards are not considered bastardly any more. Now mindless opprobrium is not fair to a bastard, but in the older days a bastard usually meant a distinctly troubled situation and the bastard would be very likely to be raised in an unbalanced manner. Now that child raising in unmarried families is more commonplace, the “troubled” aspect has been partially tamed. But more trouble is propagated in that marriage is viewed so lightly today.

If you are searching for breakfast food choices and recommendations on YOUTUBE, I'm pretty sure that 'growing up' is the last thing on your mind.
If they don’t like the ad, they should just not buy the product.
OH,,,, they're buying the product. Buying it and help selling it.
The 'rationale' of the liberal mind is that YOU shouldn't buy it, but they can because it's their 'right' to buy whatever they want. The idea that the commercial contains some 'imagined racism' further justifies their actions because the Company behind the ad should have the 'right' to choose what goes in their ad, and not have to be forced by the Tea Party to air such a racist video.
In order to defend 'their' rights and the 'rights' of the Company and the 'corporate complex', they will resort to the most basest and racial attacks that their 'brilliant' minds can come up with. The fact they are defending the very thing they pretend to attack, continues to elude them.
But, but, I thought being transgressive was a good thing!?
Marriage is dead, plain and simple, thanks to rampant fornication.
It’s a fool’s risk to indulge in it, today. The males think, “why buy the cow when the milk is free?”, and the females go, “why buy the pig when all you want is the sausage?”. And as society slowly loses the sense of importance of reproducing and raising the children in stability, the rest of the culture will collapse into chaos, or evolve a new model with a lot of chaos inherent in it. The free market cannot survive in a single-mom society.

I think it's 12 year olds who think cussing is 'kul', and whose knowledge of the world is about equal to their vocabulary and grammar skills.
They do it because they can get away with it 'anonymously'. They would never act like that in person, because they would get the crap beat out of them.
If you mean, intermarriage, yeah, nature loves diversity. The reason is because you are more likely to have a basket of mutations which allow survival of certain genetic arrangements during moments of intense selection (Darwinian culling) in diversified mating than would have bern the case, as is in inbreeding. Go check why mixed breed dogs typically outlive pure breeds.
Well, with a worldly point of view that appears logical, as “society” is the arbiter of values and “society” is saying loud and clear with its actions that marriage is going the way of the dodo. Those, like myself, with a theistic point of view (and not just theoretical theistic) will still value marriage.
