It would be interesting to find out if any 501C4 applications coming from “Black xyz” or “Black this or that” organizations received the same stall/rejection action by the IRS.
I would be willing to be they were fast tracked just like Obama’s campaign.
It’s already out that all liberal sounding applications sailed through without scrutiny.
Who knows? But I did hear of a Tea Party organizer that got tired of his application being slow-walked...so he changed the name to “Green” something or other...and it sailed through in weeks.
Somewhere here on FR is a thread containing a report of an applicant whose group's title was Media Trackers (I think). It was stalled for around 18 months. Every time he checked on it, he was told it was "still under review".
He changed the group's title to Greenhouse something-or-other to make it look like an enviro-weenie group, and got approval in 3 weeks.
I imagine a group called Muslim Islamic Extremist and African-American Democracy Tea Party could get approved pretty quickly.
Even with the catch phrase in there.
That would show they are being fair to Tea Party groups.
