Yes, funny, and actually legally significant. Precedence is very important legal factor in our system, and the one set by Obama means that Cruz, Rubio, etc, are no problem whatsoever. Not saying that's right or wrong, just saying it is.....

Making Cruz ineligible while maintaining Obama’s eligibility would be a task that even the liberal logical contortionists couldn’t perform. And declaring Obama ineligible ex post facto would undo every action he performed as an illegal president. That would lead, for starters, to the end of Obamacare, and the removal of some very liberal judges, two of whom are on the Supreme Court.
