ABSTRACT: A policy of either pre-prescribing emergency contraceptives to adolescent patients, or making them available without prescription, carries significant medical risk and is counterproductive to the parent-adolescent and patient-physician relationships. The American College of Pediatricians recommends instead that health professionals encourage good adolescent-parental communication, and teach adolescent patients the benefits of delaying sexual activity until marriage and how to avoid early sexual debut.
1. The practical effect of availability of EC without restrictions is harmful to adolescents. In England and Wales, rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among teens increased at a faster rate in those areas with free EC for adolescents compared to areas without these pharmacy schemes. In addition, not only was there no decrease in the incidence of teen pregnancies as a result, but the trend was toward an increased rate of teen pregnancies.2 As the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states, no studies have demonstrated that improved access to emergency contraception reduces the pregnancy rate in a population.3,4

The FDA making the
Morning After pill available for 15-year-olds will probably just send up rates of sexually transmitted diseases.
According this article by Medical doctors, it will not reduce the teenage pregnancy rate.

Minor Side Effects
Minor side effects of the morning after pill may include abdominal pain, breast tenderness, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache and nausea.
Menstrual Side Effects
The timing or heaviness of your next period may be affected. Menstruation may be lighter, heavier or delayed after taking the morning after pill.
Serious Side Effects
The morning after pill can change blood sugar levels, which is potentially dangerous to diabetics. Severe abdominal pain is considered a serious side effect and may be an indication of ectopic pregnancy.
Ectopic Pregnancy
Ectopic pregnancies occur when a fertilized egg attaches outside of the uterus. If the morning after pill fails to prevent pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy is possible.

There is now a gonorhea superbug which has figured out how to negate the effects of antibiotics.

It’s skyrocketing right now. And not just in the ‘oops! I forgot to have a baby 40yr olds’.
Surprising numbers of 25-30yr olds are having to use very expensive fertility procedures to get pregnant.

Emergency contraception for underage girls does more to protect the "boyfriend"/rapist than it would protect the girl.
Has anyone thought through how kids could poison each other with such a pill. Rivalry R Us.

Part of agenda 21 is to reduce populations world-wide. This latest ‘boon’ to sexually active unmarrieds will likely translate into radically reduced birth rates int he future, and more birth deformities to be aborted. I'd say the strategy is working toward the implementation of the new world order, when America becomes weak enough.

I did not know that, however it makes sense because my endocrinologist says thyroid problems are rapidly rising and infertility can be a symptom, as well as all these synthetic hormones women are taking.

"...to adolescent patients". it doesn't say girl or boy. I wonder if a 15 year old boy goes in to ask for it(or 40 year old man for that matter) if they're required to give it to him?
Will police departments be doing stings for people under age getting it like they do for beer and cigs?

Yep, and with ob@maCare and the cut backs on PAP tests, deaths will rise for one of the most curable cancers.

That's assuming that everybody ends up playing the game...which means that everyone deserves the consequences! Plus fewer innocent kids alive to be involved with the mess. So bring out the popcorn!
If conservatives stop producing and raising children according to God's will then Earth basically deserves to turn into that movie "Children of Men".

“How to avoid early sexual debut?
Um.... dont do it?”
That would defeat the unspoken intent that no girl graduate from high school a virgin.
