I hear ya, but Alawites aren’t considered muslims, and aren’t really. Their faith is syncretic, which makes them natural allies of the Christians in the country. Assad SR. and Jr. are despicable excuses for human beings, but we shouldn’t want the AQ-backed Nusra front to “win”.
