The older brother attended a mosque in Boston which was probably begun by a Wahhabist imam, which means it would be more more Arab in nature, and the women in the Middle East DO wear burqas.
I'm just appalled that ANY American woman with a brain would consider marrying a man of Muslim origin. He may not be much of a 'believer' at first, but too many of them, like this older brother, seem to start wanting more religion, and in getting that, also tend to get radicalized.
As a priest I know put it, when your Christian neighbor goes to a revival and 'gets right with Jesus', and starts being serious about his faith, you're happy for him. If your Muslim neighbor starts getting serious about his religion, and goes off to study it further, you may need to start worrying, because that means he could start looking at you as a real enemy.
