"falsely speculating that the right is behind or at fault for mass murder is not a mistake on the media's part, it is a political tactic."

Amen to this article!

The media are neither stupid nor just simply biased - they are the enemy. They place political gain above every other value - this country means nothing to them.

Remember the Times Square bombing? Remember Nanny Bloomberg (D-Bermuda) saying that it was obviously someone protesting Obamacare?

“How can the media make the same mistakes over and over again?”

It’s not a mistake. They must know better, but they say it anyway.

Dudes y dudettes, it is not the Right Wing Extrememists who blow up people at a marathon. It is the Lefties or Islamonutballs.

I mean, hell, look at McVeigh. Blew up a Federal Building. Yeah, he killed a bunch of innocent children, but he did it out of his hate for the Gubmint. Not saying it was right, it was perverted, but he did it because he hated the Feds.

The nuts in the planes at the World Trade Center NY, Aurora CO, Newtown CT, Tucson AZ, Fort Hood TX and on and on and on. They just wanted to hurt people who could not defend, if children got hurt that was just too bad. Add Boston MA to that list. They just want to make a splash.

It ain’t the Cons like us who pulled this caper. It is the Ones Who Don’t Care Who They Kill. The Islamonutballs get my vote, look at their methods.

Word.

Once you have successfully demonized a group of people in the eyes of the population, it makes it easier to criminalize them.

Such is the hallmark of every Leftist/Socialist /Despotic regime to ever come into existence.

Obama’s MarxoFascists will be no different. For some of us - we know who their Jews are going to be.

Once you have sown the idea that a particular group of political people are a threat to everyones security - a few Reichstag fires will easily give way to those groups being made to ‘go away’.

A couple of years ago History or NatGeo showed a special on the Kennedy assassination. It was titled something like 24 hours in Dallas or something. After the shooting, the video featured several man-in-the-street reactions from the public about the assassination. They must have shown a dozen or so interviews. At least in four of them, the interviewee blamed “rightwing extremists.” I was shocked. I had never heard that term before till the ‘90s, I guess with OKC bombing, etc. Where did that term come from back in the ‘60s? Anyway, it was a revelation to me.

Well before we all cast stones, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) stated it could be Islamists or right-wing groups.

Let's not forget Sarah Palin's Magic Voodoo Map of Death (named by Jim Treacher) that contains -- crosshairs! Many on the left believe that those crosshairs helped inspire Jared Loughner to shoot Gabby Giffords in Tucson in 2011.

There is no evidence that Loughner actually saw the map, but when did leftists ever need evidence? Even if he had seen the map, there is no rational reason to believe that it would inspire Loughner or anyone else to commit murder. But when did leftists ever bother with rationality?

By the way, if Boston police are still looking for a suspect -- well, this WAS the Boston Marathon, and what prominent female Republican do we know who likes to run in marathons?

While not as flagrant, often or obvious, it sometimes works in reverse. I still see and hear FReepers and other conservatives (Rush is bad about this) refer to Ted Kaczinski as an uber-liberal, and when I do, I cringe because I know it's somebody who hasn't read his manifesto, and is only regurgitating talking points.

Am I defending him as a conservative? Absolutely not; he was a nut, but an overarching theme of his manifesto was an indictment of modern leftism and political correctness, and many passages would be perfectly at home right here at FR.

As his targets suggested, Kaczinski was anti-progress, anti-technology, and anti-academia, but generally because he saw those things as direct threats to human liberty.

In the 2000 campaign there was a widespread quizz circulated on the internet asking if a series of quotes were from Kaczinski's Manifesto or Gore's Earth In The Balance. It was funny and amusing, but one could have just as easily (if not more easily) found enough quotes in his manifesto for the quizz to have compared Kaczinski with Limbaugh, Buckley, FR, etc.
