In an apparent slip of the tongue, Harry Reid this morning referred to the gun-control bill he brought to the Senate floor as anti-gun legislation.
On the anti-gun legislation before the Senate, we are making good progress on the effort to schedule a series of votes on amendments to the anti-gun-violence legislation before the Senate.
Some, however, are questioning whether the Senate minority leader accidentally revealed his true feelings. GOP Sentaor Ted Cruz, a leading opponent of the bill, asked whether Reids statement was a Freudian slip. He said in a Tweet:

We must stay on this matter and not get distracted by other issues.. It's time to write a Senator! http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

GET YOUR MIND BACK ON DC! Let others worry about BOSTON!
Sending this to the NRA.
Why not cut to the chase and call these new proposed violations of our rights the “Newtown Killer Prevention and Condemnation/Vilification of All Gun Owners Act”? Sure hope there’s a hole in the boat.
I assume those were the traitor's real thoughts. In Reid's favor though, at least he's capable of treason against our country. Obama isn't American enough for his efforts to destroy our country to count as treason.
Having opened a new gun range back home not too long ago, with the NRA attending, he’s just saying what he really thinks. (Like the Washington Compost, two posts below.)
...is more accurate.
Reid’s comment was not a “Freudian slip”. Watch the video, he was clearly reading from notes.
Why hide their intentions? Its obvious to anyone that this legislation and Newtown have nothing to do with each other.
Watch out for that Freudian Slip. It's a doozy.

Bingo! The top comment on the Youtube video nails him on that.
Freudian Slip? Sen. Reid Calls Bill "Anti-Gun Legislation"ReliveRetroNetwork 4 hours ago
"Hard to have a Freudian slip when you are READING it from your prepared speech"
Check the Congressional Record when it comes out tomorrow. I was amazed at how often the Congressmen are able to have their remarks adjusted by the clerks who prepare the written record.
Sounds like a wonderful campaign sound bite for his opponent next time.
