Brad Paisley performed at one of Obama's inagural parties. I have little use for this liberal from West Virginia who has gone Hollywood and pretends to care about God, family and country.

It’s a real shame that the liberals were allowed to infiltrate into country music.

What about his song on how “white people” can't dance. Is he familiar with the history of dance?

“I’m proud of where I’m from,” the chorus goes, “but not everything we’ve done.”

Ironic considering he's from West Virginia, which split from Virginia over slavery and fought on the side of the Union during the Civil War. So does that mean he's a hard core Confederate who is ashamed that his state sided with the union? Or more likely, doesn't have the slightest idea about his home states history.

It’s actually a good storyline for a country song in modernity and I think he nails it.

Paraphrased
Proud to be Southern and wear the red flag but, my generation didn’t start this nor do we condone it.

. The song starts out with a guy apologizing for the Confederate flag on his T-shirt to a a worker he encountered at the local Starbucks. As his protagonist sings, “when I put on that T-shirt, the only thing I meant to say, is I’m a Skynyrd fan.” Idiot! doesn't even know the history of the confederate flag.

“I’m proud of where I’m from,” the chorus goes, “but not everything we’ve done.”

So why are you a racist, Brad? What is it that you did that you aren't proud of? Do you think blacks are inferior to you? Have you attacked a black person just because he is black? Have you used the "N" word? Do you belong to a club that doesn't let blacks in?

Or is this just another preening lecture about how whites should feel guilty about what someone did in the past to make a Lib like yourself feel better?

By the way, I heard the song and its horrible.

“I just want to make things right.”

LOL! Fools errand! don’t you get it yet shorty? Blacks
have made it to the top of all areas of American life, the
ones who wanted to, that is. The only way to make things
“right” is that big,fat reparations check. And even then...

The song starts out with a guy apologizing for the Confederate flag on his T-shirt to a a worker he encountered at the local Starbucks.

And any Skynrd fan, provided you would find on in a Starbucks, would respond, "I'm paying you to make me some coffee, I don't give a damn what you think about my t-shirt."

1. The song sucks.
2. He falls for the I’m offended BS
3. Sounds like an apology for being white.
4. Brad drops a couple of notches in my book.

Dear Mr. White Man, I wish you understood
What the world is really like when you're livin' in the hood.
Just because my pants are saggin' doesn't mean I'm up to no good.
You should try to get to know me, I really wish you would
Now my chains are gold but I'm still misunderstood.

--from "Accidental Racist"

Sagging pants and gold chains are gang attire. If you don't want others to misunderstand you and think that you're up to no good, don't dress that way.
