Actually it is a surprise because The Abbey is in West Hollywood West, only 3 blocks from Beverly Hills, and the area is very, very gay. It’s like the epi-center of gay. So actually, a heterosexual rape is a little startling. This is one area women generally feel pretty safe.

Women may feel safe there, but it is all perception. The idea that women are safer in an area dedicated to perversion and hedonism is asinine beyond the pale.
