There is no place in this country where gay people can’t be “married”. It is not illegal, you don’t get thrown in jail, or worse.

The only issue is if the government needs to provide special treatment for this particular pairing of people. And there is no compelling government interest in encouraging gay couples.

Why not encourage brothers or sisters to live together. After all, that would use up less resources, and they could benefit as much from having health care coverage through one person’s business as a gay couple.

And if they were raising a child, they would be less likely to get “divorced”.

I admit I’m sexually attracted to women. If sexual preference is the most important criteria for granting homosexuals the right to marry each other, then why can’t I have multiple wives? I mean, my first wife might complain, but wouldn’t it help the environment if I took a couple more women under my roof? What gives the government the right to refuse my natural heterosexual orientation to have as many women as I can??? I demand marriage equality for those of who want more than one!

(Yeah, I’m being sarcastic, but the point is valid I think)
