But not in a way that even the Lamestream State media would have to report it. This would give the really determined GOP types like Rep. Louis Gomert to raise sam hill about the issue. The DOJ and DHS would have to do some things that would at least annoy some of the traffickers for a little while. These people need huge amounts of cash all the time, so even a relatively small bump in their revenues can be bad news. Also, you would be amazed how little the border and illegal immigration problem resonates with ‘educated’ professional and upper middle class voters. I have heard these people complaining about how ‘bad’ trying to stop poor people trying to make a better life is complete with the requisite “We are a nation of immigrants.” mantra.
