My position is quite simple.

1. The federal government should ONLY be doing what it is Constitutionally mandated to do. Currently almost everything it does is not so, and therefore a huge uraveling/dismantling needs to happen, one way or another.

2. Most of the Libertarian Party Platform is as far away from the original intent of the Constitution as the Dem/Rep. parties. Open borders? The entire gamut of the homonazi agenda? Free rein/no holds barred porn/drugs/prostition/abortion?

The LP party is merely the ultra kook anarchy fringe of the left.

IMHO the only way to get back to a Constitutional Republic is for a collapse to happen (which also IMHO is inevtiable anyway) and we can hopefully try again. One point ignored by people who call themselves libertarians is that States can have all kinds of laws regulating human affiars that that fedgov is not given the power to meddle with. In the beginning of our country States had all kinds of laws for instance regulating sodomy (all had laws against it, with very severe punishments), obscenity and so on. Libertarians never touch this even when I’ve asked repeatedly.

But of course such a government and Constitution only will work with a moral and religious people, as the founders noted many times. So, intersting times.

Regaring what party? Both totally are rotten to the core. There are a tiny number of okay Republican congressment and some governors - okay ones, I didn’t say shining examples of perfection - but that’s it. The parties are both cess pits full of vipers.

That’s like saying “I’m a communist and I don’t care about the Commmunist platform”.

IOW it’s an insane statement.

Every colony, and then state, had laws against sodomy since before the inception of our country, and after. And the fags were starting their agenda in the late 60s, and by the 70s, they were putting pedal to the metal. Their first manifesto was from the very early 70s.

So your info is wrong, wrong, wrong.

And if you are arguing that opposite sex sodomy is fine and natural and should have no laws against it, I”m sorry for you.

If people kept their private sex lives private, not a soul in the universe would know or therefore care.

You are denying that you support the libertarian position on homosexuality?

Keep reading. Everything I said was twisted by ansel12 and he is the one who wrongly asserts that I support Homosexuality in any way. I do not support homosexuality, never have and never will. I was throwing his crap back at him.

Define sodomy. The legal definition circa 1965.

I’m really not interesting in looking up the definion of sodomy in 1965.

Smokin’ Joe, I’m not saying you support faggotry. I wasn’t reading his comments anyway. I’m saying that the Libertarian Party does. Because it does. As well as no holds barred porn, prostitution, every drug, abortion, and open borders with no restrictions on who wanders over the border.

It’s not that I want such a thing to happen, or promote it, or plan to incite it. It’s just that such a collapse is to me, inevitable. Just how bad, who knows.

So now you deny that you are libertarian, after all your posting saying how you are?

Joe, are you a libertarian or not?

lj, how can you say what people were for or against if you don't know what the definition in 1965 included?

Did you know that "sodomy" included a wife performing fellatio on her husband? A husband performing cunnilingus on his wife? It did, and those practices were becoming more popular about then, whatever your personal opinion of them is.

They were not homosexual acts, but were defined as "Sodomy". Which meant the government was asserting dominion over the marriage bed in the privacy of their home. That is why heterosexuals fought sodomy laws in the 1960s and 1970s. Homosexuals were still in the closet, or wherever they went.

Now, without taking a stand on that issue, merely pointing out an historical fact, ansel12 has gone completely batsh*t and said I somehow support the faggots.

No. Not Now, Not ever.

But if you aren't concerned with facts, you won't see that either.

I think the Boy Scouts should disband. It’s the only honorable thing left to do.

You need to ping me when you post about me, I have twisted nothing, and the only thing that you are throwing out on this thread is a mass of lies and contradictions and obscenities and personal attacks.

You are afraid to even openly admit that you are a libertarian, although you have said it in a less direct way in post after post.

You seem to know down deep what you would be admitting to.

lj, I am not nor have I ever been a member of the Libertarian Party.

I am deeply disillusioned with the GOP, and am looking for a Political Party which would cut government back to where it should be, within its Constitutional bounds.

Joe, the sodomy laws applied to homosexuals, if you supported ending them, then you were siding with ACLU, the homosexuals, and the pro-homosexual libertarian philosophy.

You are straight out lying when you claim that it was we straights and normal people who wanted to remove our laws against homosexuality.
