Same neighborhood where a sinkhole swallowed the man sleeping in his bedroom a few weeks ago.

They need to have a Treasury Dept squad on standby so they can fly in and fill the hole with Baraqqi/Bernanke/Lew minibucks.
We’ve got an unlimited supply....

And that must’ve been some chore evacuating those homes. ;-)
There’s been a plague of bad headlines this weekend.

I think this is one cheesy movie the SyFy channels hasn’t made yet. “Sinkhole vs Sharktapusasurus”
Tonight its Chupacabra vs the Alamo staring Erik Estrada.

That is nothing. Just look at the financial sinkhole ODumbo is creating. Has there been any history of sinkholes in Washington D.C. area? Just curious =)

The only reason I clicked this thread was to mock the headline mercilessly.
You've saved me some typing.

Garlits had a shop at his home, and a friend was his chief Mechanical Engineer, or whatever title it is, the friend was a Mechanical engineer but usually worked as a tool and die maker, so that he could travel.
When Garlits built his rear engine dragster, the (much older) friend had picked me up in Houston to take with him and we went to Seffner together. Garlits was a cool guy back then.

Most of the old drag legends are still around.
Makes me wonder how valid the “environmental” arguments really are.
These old drag guys spent lifetimes breathing God know what.
