Why it's become clear that Obama's White House is open to the rich and closed to the poor
UK Telegraph ^ | March 16, 2013 | Mark McKinnon

Posted on 03/16/2013 11:44:27 PM PDT by Innovative

Since last weekend, Mr and Mrs Regular Citizen have been denied the access people used to be granted to tour the White House, purportedly because of the clampdown on federal spending since the "sequester" that imposed cuts across the board.

And their cancellation is an austerity measure that saves a pittance, while more frivolous taxpayer funding for items like the White House dog walker continues.

Meanwhile, noble Americans can buy time with the president for a suggested donation of $500,000 to his new campaign group, Organising for Action.

I feel compelled to point out it’s not as if White House tours end in a rap session with the president. When I went a few years ago we saw a total of about three or four rooms on one floor. That’s it.

While that may be true, the people’s house, the White House, has been closed. Bambi trying to make people pay, that’s all it is. It’s his commie way or no way.

Speaking of frivolous. is it true that Obama has a food taster? Then again all despots have food tasters. So what kind of health insurance does an Obama food taster have? Is it possible that Obama did not have his food taster the other day when he went to Congress because he furloughed him due to the sequester. No, probably because he flew to Israel in advance on Air Force 1. That plane is free, you know, ask Michelle.

He is a member of the liberal ruling elite. He takes special privileges for himself while scorning the people who pay for them.

Pretty bad when the British point out the hypocrisy of our WH. I thought we were against the, “Lord and Ladies” mentality.

This will not end well.

Stupid RNC does not realize that little stories like OFA and $50,000 or the closed white house is how you drive down the poll nubmbers of the RAT party and their King. You don’t wait for an election you take advantage when the make big mistakes.

I never cared for that name, “the people’s house.” Means about as much as politicians being “public servants.” That’ll be the day.

Closing down the tours was gamesmanship on Obama’s part. Or, rather, whoever it is that came up with the idea. You’re right about that. I think the ploy failed.

If he will look out the Oval Office window beyond his own reflection, King Barack I will see the public he is meant to serve. He ought to invite them in.

Note well the author of this highly critical piece: Mark McKinnon.

Remember him? He was GWB's campaign strategist -- the advertising guru. He performed the same task for John Sidney McCain -- once threatening to resign if anybody asked him to do a negative ad on Obama. And thoughout it all, he bragged that he was a card-carrying liberal Democrat.

Yeah, that's the guy.

And, now, five years later, he's finally seen Obama for what we all knew he was. Part of me wants to congratulate McKinnon for finally coming around. But another part wants to kick his ass for helping bring us to this sorry station.

Can’t legally. But then gubmint only follows the law when it feels like it. Are we under a stricter burden?

They can use force to make you comply with their laws,
but that’s all they have.

They don’t have legitimacy because they’ve rejected the source of their authority, the Constitution, and ultimately, God Himself.

All they have left is thuggery and force, not the consent of the governed.
