This is a step around for Posse Comitatis. The president is prohibited from using military forces in the US.
This can easily be solved by the states rejecting the use of these arms within their borders.
Americans better reassert state rights RIGHT NOW!!!

Hell, they’ll just give’em to local, county or state cops. And if anyone objects they’ll just say it’s for your security. Cops have wet dreams thinking about having these at their disposal
“This can easily be solved by the states rejecting the use of these arms within their borders.”
This is the key.
Just as we see some of the red states passing laws that “prohibit enforcement” of federal laws that would restrict the 2nd Amendment within their borders, we need to see those same states pass laws that ban [within their respective borders] the deployment of “security forces” of _civilian_ federal agencies for law-enforcement purposes.
To wit, the states should “extend” the restrictions of Posse Comitatus to include federalized, armed, civilian forces as well as “uniformed military”.
I don’t see any federal agent as being different from a soldier. When the founding fathers got this experiment started there were no federal gestapo swat teams.
In Waco they supposedly used federal agents to operate the tanks. They had trained at Ft. Hood. That looks like the army to me. And most conservatives said “Koresh had it coming” after taking the feds word for everything. The people sat back and said nothing. Now they’re coming for us all.
