To: grundle

We shopped for a new washing machine about 2 years ago. I looked in each and was amazed to find that the agitator arm was missing. I asked the sales rep, “There’s no agitator; how will the clothes get clean?” and he said, “By rubbing up against each other.”

As long as I can buy parts for my old Maytag, it’s going to keep getting fixed.

And since those machines were so effective and popular (sort of like the small block Chevy) I’m guessing parts will be around pretty much forever.
