Here's the deal.
The entire enterprise is setup around "scientific understanding", with the admission from scientists that they don't know everything and will incorporate new findings as they emerge.
I'm all for science, but I also understand it's limitations as do most. The process of science, empiricism, materialism, reduction and logic are all we have at our disposal.
Using the "Scientific" process, where does logic come from ?

Evolution and Jesus are fundamentally at odds: why? Because Jesus acknowledged the special creation of man when he said "man and woman He created them" and evolution maintains that man is just a more/differently advanced animal.

No it hasn’t, please show development to Cambrian stage life...where is the evolution? Even Darwin recognized that his theory did not hold water unless his assumption of finding evidence of evolution to the Cambrian stage held true. It has been 150 years and to date there is no evidence of evolution to that point.
