If you read the essay, you’ll note that the Colonel has already dismissed elections as a means to an end. The election process in this country is corrupted to the point of failure, and I believe we’ll see how truly bad it has become in 2014, if we make it that far.
I do agree with the Colonel’s diagnosis, it’s the severity of the cure I have reservations with. Unless a case be clearly made, with violations of the constitution clearly articulated and damages to the republic be undeniably placed in evidence, the cart is way, way in front of the horse.
