Leftists and atheists sometimes argue that most wars in History have been fought over RELIGION.

In a sense they are correct.

The Crusades were launched because moslems had taken over the Holy Land. (Whatever atrocities occurred would never have happened if the moslems hadn’t taken over in the first place)

The battles of Lepanto and Vienna and other early wars in Europe were a direct result of moslem invasion.

Even Shakespeare’s play “Othello” opens with the Protagonist being hailed as a hero for his victory over the moslems.

The first major skirmish in America’s History was against the moslem Barbary Pirates (The Shores of Tripoli!)

The Ottoman Empire slaughtered millions of Christians, most notably the Armenians in 1915, giving Hitler the idea that he could get away with exterminating entire ethnic populations.

General Gorden in the Sudan, Lawrence of Arabia, General Allenby all had to deal with moslem terrorists.

WW1 essentially set the stage for the idiotic national boundaries that exist in the Mid East to this day. Deals made with barbaric tribal leaders made them kings over imaginary boundaries and gave them a false claim to the land.

Hitler enlisted moslems to do his dirty work in the Balkans.

The very DAY that the UN voted for partitioning the British Mandate to form the State of Israel, ALL of her moslem neighbors DECLARED WAR AGAINST HER. (This war has been going on ever since).

The constant battle for Kashmir has to do with...well you know. India is Hindu, and Pakistan is (Surprise!) moslem.

The Wars in Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Libya, Mali, Algeria, and other African states are ALL related to moslem takeovers.

Of course, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are DIRECTLY related to moslem terrorism.

So I would say, Yeah, most of the wars in history have to do with religion.
And since the 7th Century that religion has been islam.
