Hey Mr. King, why should we not halt donations to YOU as well?

Have you ever considered asking how many items on the Sandy relief bill are UNRELATED to Sandy relief?

Everybody hates pork, except for the pork they benefit from.

Done and emials sent to my Congressman and Senator about why they lost a registered Republican. At least my Congressman voted against the mess, but the Senator went with the Dims on the “deal”. Going to change registration to “Independent” and be done with the “Party of Cave”.

RE: Didn’t King vote for the fiscal cliff bill?

Yes he did, as did a lot of New York Republicans.

There is a ton of pork in that bill that won’t do a damn thing for the hurricane victims, who need and deserve help-it is an utter disgrace to use them to get pork. Get rid of anything that doesn’t directly benefit those people, then pass the bill.

King was on Fox a couple hours back claiming that the Pork had been pulled out of the Bill. And that Republicans had lied that it was still in there. I’d like to know the truth, one way or another.

I for one am thrilled they spiked it. Way, way too much pork (read, MY tax dollars!) in there that has absolutely nothing to do with Sandy aid.

I have nothing against giving a helping hand to those that truly need it. But all the other junk? Forget it. If it’s that important, put it in a separate bill and let it pass or fail on its own merits.

I think tea party and like minded individuals gave the GOP one last chance in 2012. I think it is time to move on. If the GOP wants to come along fine but otherwise they can go pound sand.
