Well maybe employers and Rs should explain that their hours are cut back because of O-care.
Rs should try something new, to get voters on their side,
"Well maybe employers and Rs should explain that their hours are cut back because of O-care."
Several employers in this area are. McDonald's that just opened, Walgreen's when staffing a new store, Best Buy when hiring for Christmas and telling people they will retain some of those they hire for Christmas because they're reducing individual hours to below 28 hours for everyone except management, and so on.
The thing is, a huge number of the younger folks just whine and want the fascist democrats to force everyone to cover every employee even if they only work one hour. It's not a matter of the "word not getting out", it's a matter of a slacker, stoner, lazy, couple of generations who love a twenty-eight hour work week because it covers their dope and electronics. For almost everything else they still rely on Mommy and Daddy.
Until Mommy and Daddy start throwing them out in the street, they're perfectly content to work part time and hang out more than they work. They've believe the way they lived by doing the bare minimum while in college is the norm and it's the lifestyle they want. At least that's what I found when I was teaching a course at the local Community College for several years.
The people who are waking up are the ones already screwed by growing up in a single parent home where Mom doesn't have the money to keep them up even if she will let them sleep on the sofa. Even those folks, though, are just starting to figure things out when they get to their mid or late twenties.
It was an absolute shock to me to find out young folks these days don't have the desire to stand on their own feet and make their own life better, but by and large, that's the case. Getting by is the height if their ambition in most cases and even if you offer them a good job that requires them to get their hands dirty or actually hustle and work all day, most younger people don't want it. Working instead of just showing up isn't what they have in mind.
The only group that is an exception to that sort of attitude are the veterans and they were already head and shoulders above the crowd because they cared about something enough to enlist in the first place. Whether it was their country, money for college money, or whatever, they cared about something when the majority of other people their age cared about nothing. When they leave the service the care deeply about both their country and about standing on their own two feet to make a good life for their self and their family.
