Remington, which is based in NY(I think) has been considering relocating out of the state because of other legislation or regulations the state government was considering. If I was them, I would go ahead and leave to more friendly states, just to stick to New York over this.

Remington is located in Ilion,NY, just west of Utica in Central NY. Notice the NY politicians pushing this crap have roots in the city. That's why us upstaters are armed to protect ourselves from the rot that emanates from there.
