Children are wonderful, innocent, and usually very loving creatures. Until a certain age they do not even understand the concept of a lie. I prefer them to adults.
Usually until the age that speech occurs. Toddlers will lie to avoid consequences for their actions. It might seem "cute" but it is a natural "self-defense" mechanism/tendency that has to be curbed.
