Santorum: 'I'm open' to 2016 bid
CNN ^

Posted on 11/26/2012 9:03:04 PM PST by Arthurio

(CNN) - Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum hinted Monday he may see another presidential run in his future.

"I'm open to that possibility," the Republican said when asked on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" about a 2016 White House bid.

"But we're a long way..." he added, pausing, then continuing, "I'm focused right now on trying to stay involved in the fray and make sure that we do the right thing up on Capitol Hill right now."

Santorum proved a tough opponent to Mitt Romney during the Republican presidential primary, ultimately forcing the contest to run as late as April when Santorum dropped his bid and paved the way for Romney to clinch the nomination.

Here in a Liberal poll Palin is within 5 points of Obama and this is without declaring she is running, without 3 debates to show the people she is NOT the dummy the media made her out to be without her ads etc. Of course a liberal poll will not want Palin to run so they faked that poll so Palin was almost surely REALLY ahead of Obama:

Palin would have destroyed Obama in the debates and shown everyone the media was lying about her being dumb:

I have no problem with Santorum appearing in the 2016 field

That's strange, considering he's a wrestling lawyer sweater vest wearing union supporting degenerate loser who couldn't even get reelected in his home state but took MYTH ROMNEY backer Foster Friess money to stay in the race just long enough to take out Gingrich.

P.T. Barnum was definitely NOT wrong about suckers being born every minute, astounding that anyone on this forum would voice support for this on the take chump

Santorum sucks, and CNN and that limey POS Piers Morgan are just pouring salt on an open wound.

“Santorum did a nice spoiler job on Romney, ..”

The truth isn’t always pretty, and Romney was a spoiled candidate. Romney even lied, and said Santorum was not pro-life. Now compare flip-flopping Romney to Santorum.

Great, another slack jawed wimp to run for the GOPee.

I don't think he's ""next in line"", and hasn't spent enough time in the GOPee barrel.

Palin would be great, but so would Santorum. Santorum connected with the people, unlike Romney.

Now I hope people don’t beat up true conservatives again, because their first choice doesn’t turn out to be the front runner. Otherwise, we will end up with another RINO, like Romney.

Voting is mandatory by law in Australia, Belgium, Greece, Italy, and was in the Netherlands until recently.

He’s not a Conservative, other than on abortion, and needs to go away.

I would never vote for him.

Good, you do that Rick, make a torch out of your sweater vest, grab a pitchfork, and run the monsters out of town.

Another great candidate would be Mike Pence. What I like about Mike Pence, Palin and Santorum is that they are not afraid to “pick a fight” as Mike Pence put it when he was a congressman fighting for conservative values, and all three of them would not go wobbly on conservative principles.

I’m not saying the guy’s perfect, but he’s better than Jeb. Besides, it wasn’t like Gingrich was a real conservative. The guy just went on T.V. denouncing the idea that Obama’s socialism was key to his win. Gingrich is a panderer.

I already said that if he did run, he would have to answer for what he did in his state, but it isn’t like the guy ever supported gay marriage or an open border.

“He’s not a Conservative, other than on abortion, ..”

Who told you that?

Santorum received an A+ rating from NRA, better than Ron Paul, or Newt, who got A(s), also good, but not as good as Rick’s A+.

Not only did NRA A+ rating Rick Santorum vote for our 2nd Amendment rights, but he fought to keep gun companies in the U.S.A.! Santorum gets things done, because he is a figher!

Just ask the NRA CEO:

‘“He [Rick Santorum] was the most effective advocate of bringing it [legislation to protect gun companies from frivolous lawsuits] to the floor and getting a vote scheduled. He used his influence to get it to the floor. Without that, we would have lost every American gun company.”

– Wayne LaPierre, CEO – National Rifle Association, October 25, 2006’

excerpt http://www.ricksantorum.com/defending-2nd-amendment-rights

Want more? I’ve got tons, but I invite you to do your own research about Rick’s conservatism.

Having sais that, protecting innocent life is the most important issue, because what good is anything if we are dead?

Santorum: 'I'm open' to 2016 bid

The little sweater wearing *blocking back* setting up to help Jeb's run in 2016.
Déjà vu all over again.

Plan on it. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel for the Establishment, sending out a half dozen flashy conservatives to divide us and our MONEY like Hitler did Europe. It works every time, so why would the Estab change their MO in the future.? Why would they interfere when we hang ourselves with no help from them.

Rick was always the class kiss-up, a poser for the Establishment’s dirty work, and a union guy to boot. Forget Santorum. He lost already, to a loser in a gimme election, when the neighbor’s terrier could have won.
