There you have it, folks. In a nutshell. GOP doesn't need conservatives.
what folks are you talking to? Full blown conservative here. Romney wans't my first choice, but I know that Obama with 3 SC openings may be the end of us.
I also know that Boehner and McConnell will put up little resistance against his agenda, and the agencies (EPA, Justice) are out of control, so Romey was the only way to stop that agenda. I know that a vote for Romney was our best shot of getting Obama off the scene and working things back our way.
What do you do to help matters? You fold your arms and say give me everything I want the way I want it or I'm going help blow it all to pieces. Who needs that in their party? Did your non-vote, or 3rd party vote help the country more than voting for Romney. the answer is clearly no. If you and others like you can't see that, as I said, you are no longer needed in the fight. You are a liability.
You do what you can in the primaries to get conservatives elected. Then you crawl over broken glass in the general to vote for the Republican when a tyrant like Obama is on the other side of the ticket. That's the fight. You're not up for it.

I'm not a republican, hero. I'm conservative.
If you want my vote, and you seem upset I didn't vote the way you wanted me to.... run a conservative.
Or keep losing.
Your choice.
You are bashing the person whose vote you need and didn't get.
Do you see a problem with that?

I may move to Texas!Let me be the first to not welcome you and ask you to shag @$$ back to the cess-pool you came from. We've got a buttload of lickspittle toadies down in Austin. Our stupid tank is full.
Welcome to Texas. Now go home.

The idiots who stayed home because “both parties are the same” are uninformed idiots. Perhaps they would have been correct, if it was a Chelsea Clinton running against Mitt Romney. But we had a card carrying marxist running, and the idiots remained willfully uninformed.

I cast my ballot for Virgil Goode instead of pro abortion, pro gay marriage Mitt Romney and pro abortion, pro gay marriage Barack Obama. Even if I really believed Romney was pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage, which I don't, he knowingly chose a base of support that despises those things.
Since Goode's chances of winning the election were precisely zero, his beliefs are academic. Voting for him is an infantile gesture of self-gratification. In the end, any rational person can see that voting for Virgil Goode was consequentially no different than voting for Obama.
There is a moral blindness and fatal lack of maturity that gave the election to Obama, who is by all accounts neither competent nor decent rather than Romney who is extremely competent and a far better person than any of those who sat home on election day in judgement of him.
You are no more worthy of the nation you inherited than the average Obama supporter.

Election is over. Your boy lost. Get over it.
Beating up on people, even eloquently, isn't going to change that fact.
How about looking inward, at what needs to be fixed?

I can't stop you, without getting talked about by the neighbors, but I damn sure won't welcome you.
Do as you will. I certainly shall.
Lord knows I've dealt with enough pompous blowhards in my life.
I would suggest Austin, El Paso, or the coast, if you are firm in your intent.
I certainly don't want you here.

If you want my vote, and you seem upset I didn't vote the way you wanted me to.... run a conservative.
I keep trying to tell you: Your non vote doesn't matter. Your kind is baked in the cake already. You're part of the baseline. You're the eternal background noise in society.
If you can't vote against a tyrant like Obama, what are you? You're not a conservative, you're a nothing. The vast majority of conservatives voted to stop Obama. You did nothing. You voted the way I expect your kind to vote. You didn't fail me in that. Your delusion that you helped America when you did nothing is what it is, because you are what you are. There's no avoiding your type - you're just there - always were, always will be.
You're sand on a beach where a battle is being fought.

You're sand on a beach where a battle is being fought.K. That's why you are upset with me. I'm sand. My vote doesn't matter.
Got it, I'll own it.
Your guy lost. What can you do to fix that? Yell some more? Insult someone else?

Election is over. Your boy lost. Get over it. Romney was NOT my choice. I was afraid he would do exactly what he did.
You need to face the fact of the primaries -- there were several better candidates and they couldn't survive primary voters like you who bolted to the next candidate every time CNN said something bad about them. You got played all the way through the election and you aren't self-aware enough to realize that every step of the way you did exactly what the media wanted you to do.
To: JRandomFreeper
These people don’t have a clue that they are offending lurkers like me by berating you for exercising your own natural right to exercise your individual, independent judgment.
American citizens do NOT have to vote as a block for the Republican nominees nor anyone else. If any leaders want a solid supporter then they better _earn_ that support.
These people aren’t doing their favorite candidate any favors by attacking voters that weren’t sold on the message, by the actions, by the leadership. Maybe the GOP won’t take people for granted next time and tolerate what they did.

BS!! Stop posting why Romney lost - it is propaganda to fill your minds w/their garbage and to divert you from the real reason. OBAMA STOLE the ELECTION.
To: HiTech RedNeck
After winning the nomination, Mitt came out against the republican platform on issue after issue, including abortion.

I don't own a television. Got rid of the last one when I got rid of the last ex-wife, about a decade ago.
Do you own a television?
Your boy lost.
GOP wants my vote, they have to run a candidate this is pro-life, pro-2A, against socialized medicine, and has a record of reducing government.
