Judging from the Obama Campaign rallies, O voters just don’t seem enthused. In 2008, they were swarming the polls early and there were long lines in every Blue neighborhood and state to vote for him.

Sure, some will come out to vote but the overall feeling of rapture evident in 2008 is gone this year.

Two for Romney/Ryan here in Huntington, Indiana. Never had a line at our polling place here before, did this morning. Everyone knows Indiana is coming to it’s senses after 2008, but, lines are good this time around I think.

If what I think will happen, happens today, it will be a historic event in which we tell the govt, ‘you are in our house, here us roar.”

From PJ Media...

Will the MSM Lose Yet Again? (Let’s HOPE so!!)

November 4, 2012
by Michael Ledeen

Some years ago, back in 1984, Ronald Reagan won reelection over Walter Mondale, carrying 49 states. Afterwards, the most prestigious columnist at the most prestigious newspaper–James Reston of the New York Times–permitted himself a confession:

Among the losers in this Presidential election campaign you will have to include the nosy scribblers of the press. Not since the days of H. L. Mencken have so many reporters written so much or so well about the shortcomings of the President and influenced so few voters. Mr. Reagan beat the newspapers by ignoring them. From his nomination in Dallas to election weekend he has not held a single national news conference. He gave one or two interviews to sympathetic writers and allowed a few small-time high school and college audiences to toss him some questions, but he dismissed the White House press corps with a wave and a smile.

In other words, the MSM went all-in to defeat Reagan, and were decimated by the voters. You can almost hear Reston gnashing his teeth when you read the headline:

“Reagan Beats the Press.”

This little flashback set me wondering who’s today’s James Reston, and who, if anyone, would be man enough to make such a confession, if Romney wins on Tuesday. David Brooks? Nah, he’s had dozens of chances to out himself but never gets there. Matthews? Not a chance.

There’s a better chance of True Confessions from some of the pollsters. Just remember that Reagan-Carter in 1980 was “too close to call” for the pollsters, including Gallup. And if either candidate wins big in this election, there will be a target-rich environment for poll skeptics.

Reviewing the bidding: the media don’t have nearly the power that they, and many of us, think they have. And the pollsters, who get to talk to one out of every eleven people they (or their robots) call, are very afraid that they’re going to have to come up with some sort of scientific-sounding explanation for what happened.

Maybe they should take a poll on which explanation sounds most convincing, huh?

I see more RR bumper stickers and yard signs here on the west coast of Florida. Put two yard signs up yesterday and so did my next door neighbor (young folks with a small daughter). Heading out to vote, hubby volunteering to drive the oldsters to the voting booth. Pray.

There was a historic turnout of black voters in places like Gary and Fort Wayne in 2008 and that led O to eke out a narrow victory in Republican Indiana.

That’s not going to happen this year.

One interesting statistic that is not discussed is the four-year change in age demographics: i.e., those voters who have died in the last four years and those who have attained voting age (such as your daughter).

I have not seen any mention how this could equate to a change in voter demographics.

Anyone??

Obama's 2012 campaign doesn't even mention "hope" and "change", the very theme and justification of his 2008 candidacy and Presidency. This is evidence of a demagogue using "feel good" words that had no substance, upon the gullible to gain power in order to replace freedom with socialist tyranny.

America's constitutional republic has made it the land of the free and the home of the brave and the greatest county in the world. Obama's failed administration and socialist agenda is and has proven to be HOPELESS and America desperately needs a CHANGE.

They’ll be trying to bus them from Illinois into Wisconsin instead of Indiana this year.

Anyone got the official link for Ohio Election returns?

I checked the Ohio SOS site but can't seem to find anything.

I just voted in Warren County, Ohio, one of the reddest of red Ohio counties. I was first in line 45 minutes prior to the polls opening. By the time they opened at 6:30, the line was HUNDREDS deep. It has NEVER been like that.

Our parish is having a 40 Hours, which ends this evening.

Can't think of a better place to be.

Our priest has told us all to remember our Catholic Faith when we vote today.

Prayers up.

I hope you awake to a new president in America. If not, I may be joining you in Southeast Asia. It is just too painful watching this country destroy itself. We voted by mail, Oregon, and watch with great hope ( the anti Obama style “hope”).

Checking in, and heading off to polls at 9am. I’ll try FR later, but I won’t be expecting to get back in here unless they plug-in all the servers and bring in some extra hamsters.

God, Please Save America!
