Bad news. He nailed it in 2008:

THE REAL DANGER

At this point, I hope you have resigned yourself to the fact that Barack Obama will be the next president. Everywhere you look, this seems to be the consensus. Obama is already picking his cabinet. The media has printed the McCain campaign obituary. Just take a look at some of the headlines from the weekend:

* “Voters souring on McCain, Obama stays steady”
* “Conservatives fearful as election draws near”
* “Ailing U.S. economy may cost Republicans big”
* “Barack Obama lines up a cabinet of stars as John McCain struggles on”
* “’Don’t feel sorry for John McCain’: White House hopeful””

‘08 was the Perfect Storm.

What does that prove?

The O has failed and enough voters have finally noticed.

Bad news. He nailed it in 2008:

Just about everybody nailed it in 2008 (if "nailing" it means they called the winner right). Most polls had Obama over McCain by double digits. Even Rasmussen had Obama over McCain by about 7 points.

That is not remotely the situation we are in this time around. Most national polls have Romney up, even with built-in oversampling of Dems. There is an enthusiasm for Romney (and a sickness of the incumbent) that just did not exist for McCain. And there is a decidedly reduced enthusiasm for Obama that existed in 2008.

Its a totally different ball game this time around.

A drunk monkey could have called the 2008 election.

Yes, he did nail it in ‘08. We all hoped that he was wrong then, and we all hope so again now.

I wish there was an easy way on this site to go back exactly 4 years and see all the posts where the kool-aid drinkers and whistlin-past-the-graveyard types were all *SO* sure that McCain was going to win, and that *ALL* the polls showing him losing were “skewed”, “biased”, “Dem oversamples”, etc.

Come to think if it, it’s not much different around here now.

This time around, America is supposed to be smarter after 4 years of Bonzo’s incompetence, but the “Romney Landslide ZOMG!!!” types don’t seem to realize just how many welfare animals are in that wagon, and how few of us taxpayers there are pulling that wagon.

Our ONLY hope is that the animals don’t vote.

lol, you are citing his 2008 election call as proof he knows what he is talking about?

After mid Sept McCain never led in any major poll, so how bright did he have to be to predict an Obama win?

Bad news. He nailed it in 2008:

My great grandfather "nailed it" in '08, and he's been dead for 83 years.

Boortz is just holding to the prediction he's had about this election for more than a year, now. It fits with his very fatalistic worldview. Best response you could give to Boortz, face to face, is to tell him you're pro-life or that you think Terry Schiavo got a raw deal.

That will elicit the kind of fireworks from Neal he regularly provokes from his audience.

The guy is no magician.

Good rule of thumb... when the Legacy Media has a dog in the fight, and reports the election "too close to call," you can BET they're losing, every time.

I think in 2008 the sentiment was *so, just how bad could it possibly get?*

In 2012, people have a different answer to that question.

Well...for that matter...I NAILED IT in 2008. Anyone who thought we had a chance a week out in 2008 was really smoking the whacky weed.

Of course...the same arguments were bing used about the polls...and I pointed that out as well. This year is different. We are not that far removed from 2010...Chic-Fil-A...etc.

R52-47 or more.
