Senate race in dead heat, new Globe poll shows (47-45 Brown)
Boston Globe ^ | 10/29/12 | Noah Bierman

A new Boston Globe poll shows the race between Senator Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren in a dead heat, with ample opportunity for both candidates to win the nation’s most expensive Senate race eight days from now.

The survey indicates Brown holds a razor-thin 45 percent to 43 percent lead over Warren among likely voters, well within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points. Brown’s lead evaporates, with 47 percent for each candidate, when voters who are undecided are asked which candidate they are leaning toward.

The poll is a reversal from a September Globe survey that showed Warren ahead 43 percent to 38 percent, as well as several other recent polls that have found Warren with a slight lead. The shift underscores the belief long held by both sides that the race, active for more than a year, would be competitive until the end.

I know Brown is no conservative, but he's another (R) for determining the majority control of that body.

Scotty is a lock. I’ve said so since May.

He OWNS the independent single pro-death female demographic, which dominates all elections in MA.

They would be embarrassed to tell you WHY he owns them, but own them he does.

Brown is needed for a GOP Senate majority.

He’ll vote at least some of the time with the GOP. Elizabeth Warren will never do it.

I know his politics don’t sit well with conservative Freepers but a 100% conservative Republican will never win in the Bay State.

We need every seat to deny Dingy Harry the opportunity to throttle the Republican agenda in 2013.

Scott Brown is also pledged to vote for repeal of obamacare. And unlike many, he listens to his constituents.

Meanwhile, Warren, since she became enamored of Barack Hussein obama and of the POWER of being a “czar”, has become more and more dangerous. And she has also become very corrupt:

If you live in Mass, vote for and support Scott Brown, with as much enthusiasm as if he were a real conservative. You’ll be glad you did!!!!

His good looks.... Warren looks ugly.

And female voters can fantasize about what its like to be with Brown.

A guy’s good looks win every time!

Thank God he’s still ahead. There was a poll last week with him 5 behind. So, this is welcome news.

A MA RINO is infinitely preferable to a Marxist Democrat.

Scott Brown isn’t going to vote to redistribute your wealth. That may be the only good reason for keeping him in office for the next six years.

Scott Brown is no favorite here but when put up against Elizabeth Warren - it’s no contest. Warren is not only a phony and a fraud but she will vote against the GOP 100% of the time. At least with Brown, we have a 50/50 chance and Brown has already come out and said he will vote to VETO ObamaCare should Romney be elected and the GOP have the senate majority.

Why does your headline show a 47-45 Brown lead?

Odd that the Globe is the outlier here. Most other polls show Warren leading by about 4.

Rasmussen has Warren up today by 5.

Polling Mass is tough, however.

Indies and Repubs, combined, far outnumber Dems. And many Mass Dems are union/blue collar types who will vote for Brown.

Not a huge fan of Brown (think he’s run a horrible race) but I despise Warren. And if she wins, she’ll become a progressive rockstar, and leading 2016 POTUS candidate.

I went through the internals of this poll, and there are some concerning details.

For one, it seems that the White Native American vote was not sampled accurately. Fauxcahontas can assume near 100% support from this group.

Next, we know that Scott is attractive to certain females, but there needs to be some consideration of the Harvard Male Humanities Professorial vote — this group tends to want to be with women like Warren and Martha Coakley — in fact, there is a Men’s magazine that’s popular in this group, called “Fauxtler”.

Warren is NOT just your average Marxist Democrat.

Lookie here:

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/10/elizabeth-warren-2016/

Who knows what foreign interests (besides Soros) are behind her now?

The longer she goes on, the more megalomaniacal she gets.

Let’s stop the cycle, and send her back to Harvard Law School where she once did some good (only I doubt she can do any good now, at least not without a powerful dose of God’s grace).

And if you don’t like “RINO” Brown, try to work with him. He does listen, at least a little bit.

The idea of Chief Spreading Bull in the US Senate is almost as reulsive as Al Franken in there now.

Brown’s ads are nauseating. I will hold my nose and vote for him, but I won’t enjoy it.

Also, once a Dem gets hold of an important office in MA, you can almost never get rid of them.

Who ever though we’d be stuck this long with John Kerry? He’s only a Kennedy wannabe and not a real Kennedy, and we are STILL stuck with him permanently. Doesn’t matter. Even the most popular R governor we had couldn’t beat him.

If Warren gets that office, she’ll never give it up. People have short memories, and six years from now she’ll run for re-election against some weak Republican and win easily.

I can’t stand to listen to that woman for five minutes. Six years would kill me.

Brown desperately needs to win. For everyone’s sake.

There’s an article in the WSJ opinion pages, about the need for Republicans to, if not retake the Senate, at least increase the numbers because Harry Reid plans to continue killing every piece of legislation that the House and President Romney send up there.

Romney will be forced to govern by executive order, just like Obama did. It’s not a good precedent.
