Obama the Classless
The New American ^ | 26 October 2012 | Selwyn Duke

When Barack Obama called Mitt Romney a bull******* in a Rolling Stone interview recently, it was reminiscent of something involving a man who truly fits that description. What I’m referring to has to do with the 1990s, an intern, and America’s increasingly interned morality.

After Bill Clinton said that he didn’t consider Monica Lewinsky’s services to be sex as he “understood it,” many observers pointed out that his lawyering of lasciviousness was influencing the young. “Hey, even the president, a Rhodes Scholar, says it isn’t sex!” It’s what you call trickle-down decadence. And now what Clinton did for intimate relations, Obama is doing for relating.

A powerful man sets a powerful example, and Obama has always been classless. Many complained last year after he invited the rapper “Common” to the White House, but forgotten is that Obama admitted in 2004 that he let his daughter Sasha — a tender three years old at the time — listen to rap. If anyone exposed my child to that cultural effluent, the rap he’d get would be in the head.

As for Obama’s bovine-excrement descriptive, it clearly was calculated to appeal to Rolling Stone’s stoner demographic, which is supposed to conclude that BO is just, like, you know … such a cool dude (I’m just the bees’ knees myself).

Choosing a leader for this moment of our history goes to the very soul of America and to the kind of personal character of that leader as exhibited throughout his life, and then holding that leader to a set of principles essential to liberty. America needs a rediscovery of the ideas which made it a shining light for oppressed individuals and families from all over the world.

Hear one of the wise men of America's founding generation:

"He therefore is the truest friend to the liberty of his country who tries most to promote its virtue, and who, so far as his power and influence extend, will not suffer a man to be chosen into any office of power and trust who is not a wise and virtuous man. We must not conclude merely upon a man's haranguing upon liberty, and using the charming sound, that he is fit to be trusted with the liberties of his country. It is not unfrequent to hear men declaim loudly upon liberty, who, if we may judge by the whole tenor of their actions, mean nothing else by it but their own liberty, - to oppress without control or the restraint of laws all who are poorer or weaker than themselves. It is not, I say, unfrequent to see such instances, though at the same time I esteem it a justice due to my country to say that it is not without shining examples of the contrary kind; - examples of men of a distinguished attachment to this same liberty I have been describing; whom no hopes could draw, no terrors could drive, from steadily pursuing, in their sphere, the true interests of their country; whose fidelity has been tried in the nicest and tenderest manner, and has been ever firm and unshaken. The sum of all is, if we would most truly enjoy this gift of Heaven, let us become a virtuous people." - Samuel Adams - Loyalty and Sedition, essay in The Advertiser, 1748

"Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt." Samuel Adams - Essay in the Public Advertiser, 1749

"The liberties of our Country, the freedom of our civil constitution are worth defending at all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have receiv'd them as a fair Inheritance from our worthy Ancestors: They purchas'd them for us with toil and danger and expence of treasure and blood; and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle; or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men. Of the latter we are in most danger at present: Let us therefore be aware of it. Let us contemplate our forefathers and posterity; and resolve to maintain the rights bequeath'd to us from the former, for the sake of the latter. - Instead of sitting down satisfied with the efforts we have already made, which is the wish of our enemies, the necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude, and perseverance. Let us remember that 'if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.' It is a very serious consideration, which should deeply impress our minds, that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event." Samuel Adams - Essay in the Boston Gazette, October 14, 1771

"When designs are form'd to raze the very foundation of a free government, whose few who are to erect their grandeur and fortunes upon the general ruin, will employ every art to sooth the devoted people into a state of indolence, inattention and security, which is forever the fore-runner of slavery." Samuel Adams - Article signed "Candidus," in Boston Gazette, December 9, 1771

"He who is void of virtuous Attachments in private Life, is, or very soon will be void of all Regard for his Country. There is seldom an Instance of a Man guilty of betraying his Country, who had not before lost the Feeling of moral Obligations in his private Connections." - Letter to James Warren, November 4, 1775

"Since private and publick Vices, are in Reality, though not always apparently, so nearly connected, of how much Importance, how necessary is it, that the utmost Pains be taken by the Publick, to have the Principles of Virtue early inculcated on the Minds even of children, and the moral Sense kept alive, and that the wise institutions of our Ancestors for these great Purposes be encouraged by the Government. For no people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffusd and Virtue is preservd. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauchd in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders." Samuel Adams - Letter to James Warren, November 4, 1775

"Nothing is more essential to the establishment of manners in a State than that all persons employed in places of power and trust be men of unexceptionable characters. The public cannot be too curious concerning the character of public men." Samuel Adams - Letter to James Warren, November 4, 1775

What do you expect from a pot-smoking, former coke dealer who had everything handed to him because he’s black? He was ghetto trash then, he is ghetto trash now.

Obama was a candidate created with smoke and mirror images. He had no substance or credible achievements anywhere in his life.

I once heard Paul Harvey explain why radio works so well, especially for advertising. He said that while a filmed image of a threatening big black horse charging up to the fence may scare people, he could say "imagine a horse running along a fence" and most people would have an image of a serene pasture and the type of horse they like, be it a thoroughbred, palomino or new born colt.

Barack Obama was packaged so that people could imagine the candidate they wanted to vote for and insert him into the fantasy.

I saw something very heartwarming around Tampa and Clearwater today.

My wife and I went to pick up our grand-daughters today to baby sit them for the day.

As I traveled through my Tampa neighborhood, and through Clearwater to get to my daughters place of work, I noticed that, there wasn’t a single Obama sign on any people’s homes, and none on the roads either. However, all over the roads and on many people’s homes, you could see Romney/Ryan yard signs. My favorites, which I saw many times on the roads were the “Fire Obama” signs. On the front lawns, you could see a sea Romney/Ryan signs, everywhere one looked.

Again, not a single pro-Obama sign anywhere, and I had to drive about 15 miles to get to my daughter’s place of work.

All of the neighborhoods I went through, are all middle-class, and, apparently, the middle class is very sick and tired of Obama.

From my observations, Obama should just give up the battle for Florida, since, he’ll just be wasting his campaign money.

I’ve never ever heard anything so base from a president in my lifetime.

The psychological term for this is transference. Obama is basing his entire final push on trust ?!? The man who spent almost two weeks pushing an obscure video as the cause of 4 American deaths ? Every justification that he has given for his election is based on an outright lie, a half-truth, or a statistical abherration that has no correlation to the claim he is making.

He spent 100s of millions bashing Romney for events that happened at Bain after he had any control over the company. Events that are part of the normal cycle of business.
He claims to have created 5 million jobs when there are 20 million fewer people working vs. when he took office. If I was working when he took office, got layed off, had 10 temp jobs during his term and was unemployed when he left I’d count as 10 jobs created instead of 1 less person working.
He claims to have made gains in energy production when he has slashed all the production that he has control over, while subsidizing production in other countries. Private companies have stepped up on private lands to make up the difference.
He reverses the cause and effect of high fuel costs causing weak economies and claims that high fuel costs are proof his economy is succesful even though fuel demand is down.
He claims to have lowered healthcare costs when every measure of apples to apples costs has skyrocketed especially the price of insurance. Only because so many millions of people have been forced to drop off insurance and can’t afford to seek care can he claim that overall spending on healthcare is down. This is bad for the people that are not getting care, and for the industry, but he claims credit anyway.
He claims that Romney is paying a smaller percentage in taxes than those who make less than him, completely ignoring the 30% Romney gave to charity and thus was able to deduct from his taxes. He also claims that he invests in loopholes and outsources when Obama has the same investments.

Finally, he claims a god-fearing, sober, righteous mormon is a bulls***er when everyone knows who the BS’er really is. Transference is a classic trait of the Malignant Narcissist.

Notice that nothing is ever mentioned about the latest book that either Obama has read or is reading. All other Presidents talked about what they were reading. Is he watching porn flicks while smoking pot rather than expanding his mind.

Perhaps the most obnoxious part of this story is that the journalist never suggested his kid didn’t like Romney. He just said his kid had positive words for Obama. Why would Obama assume the kid thinks Romney is a bullsh**er? Isn’t it possible he thinks they’re both good men and just wants Obama to win ?

Obama is a yapping, lying, ghetto street hustler with a deep resentment of heterosexual people. Why more people don't see through this charade is beyond me.

The real scandal isn’t so much the petulant and immature man that occupies the WH, it’s the adoring and supine media that worship him. They just can’t get enough of the lanky, out-of-place affirmative action hire, who from day one has been making offensive schoolyard wisecracks, flipping the bird, and belittling individuals and groups too numerous to mention with every speech. The office of the president-elect? WTF was that? No, he’s been a very pathetic little man the moment he set his foot on stage. And despite the fact that Obama has long been unmasked as a hard-core leftist, with views completely at odds with our form of government and its history, the media just can’t seem to get enough of him.

I wonder if Lil Barry will let Romney use his Office Of The President-Elect podium?

You all know this was one of the first flags that Obama was classless.

To be a modern day liberal, it is required to be a classless lowlife.

On a more positive note, Selwyn Duke’s writing is quite good.
