Here is what I think happened:
THe WH has connections with the Muslim Brotherhood, the plan was to have 40 Americans taken hostage before the election, Obama would have them released a day or two before the election thereby getting voters to vote them back in office.
The two Navy Seals stopped the plan with their brave actions rescueing over 30 of the people involved and killing as many as 80 terrorists. The terrorists were so mad at the losses they killed Stevens.
This IMHO was the October surprise. People should hang!

I watched NBC News this evening, feeling certain they would be compelled to cover today’s developments as we learned that CIA operatives on the ground were repeatedly denied permission to go to the Ambassador’s aid. (They eventually went anyway and were killed, if I understand correctly.)

Instead, afer covering the hurricane/blizzard looming toward the eastern seaboard, they featured Chuck Todd frolicking with his monster iPad, swooshing states this way and that across an electoral map. That was followed by a tragic, but strictly local story about a brutal murder of two small children and suicide by a NYC babysitter.
NOTHING about Libya! If nothing else, I’d like to hear:
What was the evidence that compelled Obama, et al, to blame this two-phase military attack, complete with RPG’s, on a spontaenous protest of a bogus video that had been released months previously? Surely we don’t have to wait ‘til after the election for THAT?!

O’Reilly missed the point about sending in military aircraft. The State Department flew an unarmed propellor driven World War Two era DC-3 into the Benghazi airport. The military needed more information? Ask the DC-3 pilot what the flak was like.
