That is possibly true. State may have been entirely to blame for pre-9/11 security. Of course Obama is still responsible for State. So he still owns it. But he may not have been personally involved in those policy decision because we know he doesn’t care about security.
However there is no question that Obama PERSONALLY owns the lack of a response to those poor souls during the 5 hour battle. He would have known within minutes that our consulate was being attacked.
Ed Schultz reported that Bill and Hillary have been fighting for s couple weeks now over whether Hillary should make public the documents that prove she requested more security for Stevens. The only person who could have vetoed her request was Obama.
