There’s so many Democrats pissed off at Obama here, I think this time around we might even have some of the dead voting for Romney.
The sad fact is this: Even if Republicans are elected to a lot more national-level offices, the Federal Agency officials can not be easily removed and THEY ARE the problem.
No Obama signs , rare Obama bumper stickers.
East La Habra—”East LH”—is a “blue” neighborhood in “red” Orange County, Calif. Nonetheless, a couple of Romney yard signs popped up on a nearby street in the last couple of days.
I am in west Michigan and not many signs or bumper stickers at all. I have been pretty active talking to just about anyone I run into. I have yet to find ANY enthuiasm for Obama, plenty of rage against Obama.
In one city in ‘rat-heavy Lorain County NE Ohio, the obama headquarters has opened—this week. The disciples can’t get signs, and what signs there are, in neighboring counties, are virtually unreadable from the highway— tiny letters on a field of plain blue. Obama ground game in this part of Ohio sucks.
In Norman, Oklahoma, there are a few Obama yard signs around the campus in the neighborhoods and a few Romney signs (usually stuck in a yard near an Obama sign), but I haven’t seen an Obama bumper sticker in a long time, come to think of it. No one else seems to be mentioning this influence, but here in Oklahoma, our OKC diocese has made available quite a lot of material on the teachings of the Church regarding the major issues in the current election. The information is carefully non-partisan, of course, but very clear.
I live in Charlottesville, VA which would vote for Hugo Chavez if he was on the Dem ticket. Not nearly the excitement here as in ‘08. Had a Obama supporter stop by the house. We told him we were voting for Romney and his response was “seems like everyone is”. Then he gave us an Obama flier and said “here you can throw it away if you’d like”, so we did.
One of my neighbors had an 0bummer sign on the lawn in 2008. This time NOTHING. I have seen only two vehicles with 0bummer stickers and one was a sticker from 08.
And that is because I live in deep South Texas. It is all dumocrat down here.
BTW, I early voted this morning. Felt good. Had to vote early. If the Good Lord should take me before Nov.6th, at least I got to vote, once again, against the petulent one.
In Albuquerque and surrounding areas we saw TONS of Zero yard signs and bumper stickers in 2008.
This year, very very few yard signs at all - saw 2 the other day and they were the first. More bumper stickers than yard signs, but still I’d say maybe 10% of the bumper stickers we saw in 08. LOTS of the stickers we saw in 08 were the Spanish ones, “Si se puede” but I have not seen ANY of those.
In fact, the other day my husband found one rolled up and tossed into the shrubs outside our credit union.
One idiot down the street from us has a large picture of Zero in his front window.
Problem is lack of overt enthusiasm doesn’t mean the Obamites won’t vote for what they now consider the lesser of two evils
What a great idea for a discussion thread.
Citizen Journalism at its best.
I know three people who voted for hussien last time and two of them have finally seen the light. The other, I don’t know. Last time there were lots of hussein bumper stickers in Austin and San Antonio (TX) but I think I’ve seen just one in recent months. There aren’t many Romney bumper stickers or signs either. There were only two R&R on my way to vote today and the guy who usually has giant RAT signs doesn’t have any this time around.
Fairfax, VA. 2012: A couple of weeks ago waiting at a red light, I saw a young couple looking at an Obama sign that someone had apparently placed on their property. As I watched, they talked for a moment, pulled up the sign and dropped it on the ground.
This morning, waiting at the same light, I saw a GIGANTIC ‘VETERANS FOR ROMNEY” sign in the same place. LOL!
Philly burbs, supposedly solid Obama territory, have seen virtually no Obama signs of any sort. Romney signs are everywhere, and am seeing more and more every day. I saw one large Romney sign that had been vandalized by a free speech-loving tolerant liberal. I’m seeing anti-Casey signs like “Casey Kills Jobs” and “Casey + Obama-16 Trillion in Debt”. I have not see a single pro-Casey sign. The real head scratcher was one that read “Democrats for McCain”.
In my neighborhood in 2008 there were quite a few Obama yard signs and I remember several specific houses that displayed them. This year, while Romney signs are not everywhere by any means, Obama signs are nowhere. None. Zero. Zip. Nada.
Far NW Travis county Texas. About 100 R/R signs and a single 0 bummer sign. There are several homes (with the same occupants from 2008) that now sport R/R signs.
North Central Ct/Western Ma area. Outside a few areas with larger Jewish populations, Very few Obama signs. On houses that had Obama or other Dem signs in 08, most have none or they excluded Obama signs. 99% of Obama bumper stickers are form 08.
Tried to ask a few lib friends why, one blame Bush.
