Why?
Because she just so LOVE those pesky little people she’s going to ‘represent’?

Liberals’ view of ‘public service’ is not your normal ‘public service’.
Why won’t she enlist?

“I certainly feel a strong call of public service,”
There are so many ways to serve the public that don’t involve personal gain from a political career.

If caroline kennedy can't make it... neither can this spawn.

I imagine she is probably torn between a life of politics or her own tv reality show.

Why not?
Politics is the last refuge of those who cannot do anything else.
And she most certainly qualifies.
To: pieceofthepuzzle
So how well did she do in the corporate world, did she find her niche, and gain respect of her counterparts. This is important. But if it’s about politics, name recognition alone will sometimes get you elected. Just like it was for Jesse Jackson Jr.
To: SeekAndFind
Wasn’t she “let go” from her tv job?

Worked for Her Thighness, didn’t it?
Look at HRC’s actual record. In “public service”. One her own merit.

She needs to marry a hunky guy with no morals first.

translation = If you cant make it in your own, let Daddy make it all better. Exactly. She has failed at the other jobs she has tried or got bored with them so now its time to try politics! And sadly, as with the Kennedys, there will be some Lib district that has a slavish devotion to the Clinton name that will elect her.
