A Conversation with Bernie Marcus

Home Depot Founder Bernie Marcus shares his concerns for our nation and how frightened he is by what Pres. Obama's policies mean for America, especially for our children and future generations. In particular, the lack of job creation and rising home foreclosures are limiting the American dream for millions of families.

As someone who has taken Home Depot from one store to one of the largest companies in the world, and as someone who has hired millions of people over many years in business, Bernie is in a unique position to know which policies can bring about economic growth and prosperity and how badly Pres. Obama's policies are hurting us.

Great video of Bernie Marcus talking frankly about how Obama will further destroy the USA if elected. In the video, he asks Jews to come to their senses and vote Romney.

Most of the comments on YouTube are positive, but some liberal ones are functionally and economically illiterate.

We won’t shop there because of their big support for the gay folks.
I heard they go all out for parade day.

Boycotts are a slippery slope.

I’m sure you realize that Apple and Microsoft are off limits to FReepers for the same reason.

Home Depot supports the radical gay agenda and illegal immigration. Why should we care what this guy has to say?

With all due respect, that is an inane post. First, what does the current gay policy of Home Depot have to do with an interview with Bernie Marcus? He doesn’t work there any more. Second, you “heard they went all out?” Dont’ you think a lot of HD employees agree with you and wish their corporate stance was different?

But again, WTF does that have to do with Bernie? Bernie is great! So great the libs at CNBC won’t let him on the air there much anymore

You should support the notion of reading before spouting off. Bernie Marcus is a founder of the HD. He does not work there any more. He is involved with mostly conservative causes now. YOu should care what he has to say because he has done more for and speaks more intelligently on conservatism than you do.

I haven’t been there in 3 years. There’s an HD here in L.A. where an army illegals block your path to the entrance..
Right across HD, is OSH. No illegals. Guess where I buy my stuff?

Thanks for posting. Bernie is one of the best and most credible spokespersons around today - and his talk about how “Home Depot could not be founded today” is powerful and informative. Don’t pay attention to the drive by ignoramuses and their comments - they obviously don’t know who Bernie is.

That is good to hear after listening to the founder and CEO of Costco speak at the Democrat National Convention last month. It is REALLY discouraging to hear businessmen like that slobbering all over Barack Obama.

Wasn’t Bernie all in for the Messiah back in 08?

Not from what I remember.

He has always been pro private property, pro independent business. As far as I can remember.

The company he left now sponsors homo-parades for kids!

I think they’ve lost a lot more business than they gained taking that stance. A lot of other businesses too. I know it’s supposed to be hate the sin but love the sinner but they have tried shoving their agendas down our throats. Still they it’s a very stupid idea to let there be gay Scout Masters. A gay man taking a bunch if young boys into back woods areas all alone? Not on my watch! Common sense out the window.

You’re not the only one. Because of their pro-illegals and pro-homo marriage activism, I’ve refused to set foot or spend a dime at Home Depot for at least two years now. The whole company can go rot in hell.
