I hope Ryan understands--as Romney did--that he can't count on the moderator to respect or enforce the rules. He should be ready--like Romney--to demand a closing or rebuttal, or to keep matters on track in the event Joe starts talking about, say, colonizing Mars when, for example, prosaic economic questions become too tedious for him.
