G’Day, Janey...((HUGS))...yes, it is time if their cic won’t let them do their job.
Thanks for the great pictures.
I’m leaving shortly to go pick up the walker and see how the day went and change the dressing.
Evening, Kathy. Holiday (Simchat Torah) is over, so I can finally say hi.
I enjoy cafes, in spite of their left-wing connotation. Actually, it’s the coffee.
Good evening, Seven....that’s funny. As stupid as some folks are, I’ll bet some crook waited.
You Are Flexible |
You like the original, the local, the tried and true. You get easily annoyed by the world and other people. You wish people would be more responsible and conscientious. You are inspired by high energy. Being around other creative, productive people really motivates you. You love to watch other people work. LOL! |
A very good evening to you Conor & I hope that footie is getting better day by day! *Hugs*
You Are Reflective |
You secretly wish that you could be a more knowledgeable person. There are a dozen things you'd like to get your PhD in. You are realistic about the world. You may have challenges that come your way, but you can overcome them. You get inspired by stories - both true and fiction. The ups and downs of other people's lives motivate you and interest you. |
Good evening, Mooch...hope you had a wonderful Simchat Torah holiday. How is your weather? Fall there and winter thinking?
Good evening, Flexible ML...((HUGS))...that would be you.
Did you have good lessons today?
Yes...mostly voice today.
My Specialty!
During your downtime, you like to find something new to experience and to inspire you.
You secretly wish that you could be a more successful person. Being rich is a dream of yours.
You feel easily overwhelmed and tired by the world. You can only get by if you are patient and take problems one at a time.
You are inspired by a mismatch of things. You never know what is going to get you thinking, and your mind tends to be racing.
Samuel, who was 4, had finished eating his dinner and asked if he could be dismissed from the table. He wanted to go outside to play. But he was too young to be out alone, so his mother said, No. You cant go outside by yourself. You need to wait for me to finish and go with you. His quick reply: But, Mommy, Jesus is with me!
Samuel had learned well from his parents that the Lord is always by his side. We see in our Bible reading today that Jacob had learned that lesson too. His father Isaac had blessed him and told him to find a wife from among his mothers family (Gen. 28:1-4). He followed that directive and traveled toward Haran.
As Jacob slept, the Lord came to him in a dream and said, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go . . . ; for I will not leave you (v.15). When he awoke, he knew that he had heard from God, and said, Surely the Lord is in this place (v.16). Confident of Gods presence, he committed himself to following Him with his life (vv.20-21).
If we have received Jesus as our Savior (John 1:12), we can be confident and take comfort in the truth that He is always present with us (Heb. 13:5). Like Jacob, may our response to His love be wholehearted devotion.
Read: Genesis 28:10-22
Thanks Connie....maybe I ought to look a littlw harder.
Weather finally getting cooler, which means I’ll have to winterize the windows a bit. Some of the rooms are drafty.
Has winter already arrived by you?
It tried for just a couple days...the nights got down into the mid 20s, but now the nights are in the mid to low 40s again. Mid October is sorta the norm for first snow. We’ve had rain off and on for the last couple months.
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How's it going?
