Florida Republicans are outraged after a school district allowed a pro-Obama organization to conduct student voter registration drives and deliver speeches to classes – but denied the Romney campaign similar opportunities.

They registered high school and middle school voters? Isn’t the legal voting age in the US 18? Well, maybe that only applies to Republican voters.

IT’S LAWSUIT TIME!!! A “skool” disenfranchising GOP kids really sucks but that’s what communists do. It’s the only way they can sell their anti-freedom agenda to the youngs skulls full of mush.

Among that bunch, the middle school is probably full of 18 year olds.

I have said it before: knowing what we know now about socialist and liberal Democrats, I am stressed out about what the Democrats are going to do with these registrations. I fear that the boys’ registrations will end up at Second Mile, Jerry Sandusky’s foundation or, worse, at Mabla, and the girls’ registration will end up on the social media or Craigslist.

They went to register students at 6 different middle schools and high schools. I doubt very few students were even eligible to register to vote because of their young age, most especially those at the middle schools, unless they were a democrat. Still this was entirely wrong and the principal is responsible.

No sympathy for the scumbag parents that commit their offspring to the government education asylums!

They have no grounds to bitch...In fact, they should be in jail for criminal abuse of children...IMHO

Man-oh-man. I bet that in this war between good and evil, the evil leftist indoctrinators get what they deserve. May the next 150 million dead be the evil ones and not the enemies of communism (hard workers).

This is all about the teacher's union making sure that their bread gets buttered.

Democrats do not have to follow the law, they are so moral they know that they are above the law.

Nothing to see, move along.

Many people can’t afford private or parochial schools and if both parents work or it’s a single parent, how do they home school?

Parents can contact parochial/private schools and discuss feasible payment plans, etc. These schools want to teach these kids and perhaps something could be worked out. Further, parents need to start sacrificing...money for the various electronics people use today, eating out, making purchases that are not necessary...are some options in order to pay for that tuition. Delayed gratification applied wherever you can apply is another method.

And as to those single parents, and I'm not referring to those who are divorced or widowed (and for that matter, the correct title would be DIVORCED or WIDOWED, and not “single parent”)it would behoove these men and women who think nothing of laying about with any man/woman and having babies, and then they wonder “what do I do now.” Oh, that's right, the government will pay for my housing, food, formula, education, everything! And the reality is they may NOT be able to afford anything more for their child. And this also applies to those men and women who are not married and decide to adopt a child....that's why the institution of marriage was created so that two parents could raise a child together..it takes the financial, physicial and emotional support of two parents who can share duties and back each other. And for that reason some single parents by choice will lose out and not be able to provide/care for their child as a married couple could. Reality and the understanding of economics comes late to some people, and the children suffer.

This is also a time when grandparents need to step up and offer to help, if that is what it will take for a parent to be able to home school. Also, are there any retired teachers out there willing to work something out with those parents who need assistance with home schooling?

Your theories would've worked up to about 1975, after that? With the economy being what it is, usually both parents have to work, it's not optional unless one of the spouses have a really good job. And by single parent I was including divorcees and widows/widowers. And not all grandparents are still living or able to help. 2012 is not The Walton's 1930’s or Father Knows Best's 1950’s. BTW, my late father said the Waltons would've been considered a rich family where he grew up during the depression. There were times that his family of 8 only had a potato. Not one per person, one total.

You've posted a lot of negatives, now how about some positive suggestions on what can be done. If parents seriously want to home school, or send the kids to parochial/private schools, they will have to find a way to do it. There are no absolutes to your statements...there ARE parents who WILL make the sacrifices, there ARE grandparents who WILL be willing to step up and help, there ARE retired teachers out there who WILL hopefully offer assistance to those who need it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Start with a positive outlook and work toward a postive solution.

And in the meantime, we must take back our school system from the socialists. That's but one of the big ticket agenda items.

We need to get control the schools back into the hands of the locals and out of Washington. Not only would the cost drop by billions, the locals would know exactly what's going on in those schools. Parents would be paying more attention.

I've been looking for this article all morning. Can you say vote fraud? They need names to add to the voter rolls.
